I purchased this lid only for the stainless steel knob on top. My cast iron Dutch oven lid had a plastic knob, Soviet I switched it out with this knob, and it works awesome and can go into the oven up to 450 degrees, and was much cheaper cost than just purchasing a “high end” knob, so a win win!!

This lid was the perfect fit, style, solidly made, and at the right price. It fits my 7.75" cooling dish which is only 1/2" deep. After inverting the knob to fit outside of the lid, cooking small meals inside the bowl was a breeze. Fast delivery. Sold weight, multi-use.
