It is accurate and tracks all the components just like scales that cost hundreds of dollars. No Bluetooth link to your phone/tablet or proprietary app, though, you have to enter the data yourself in a notebook or an app according to your preference — I’ve found I like FIT JOURNEY. You have to press the set button first to set up your profile (age, gender, height) and then before each time you step on, press it to pull up your profile (multiple people can set up profiles). You can also just step on the scale and get nothing but weight. The batteries that came with it have lasted more than 2 months; the Triomph kitchen scale I got at the same time in a combo deal went through the provided batteries in a week, but has been doing fine with the rechargeables I put in. I recommend weighing yourself at the same time every day — first thing in the morning, before breakfast but maybe after the bathroom is probably your lowest weight of the day. Your weight — and the other readings — will naturally fluctuate by several pounds over the course of the day, depending on water and food consumed, how full or empty your colon is, etc, so you want to compare readings that are taken under roughly similar conditions, or you’ll mistake what your trend is. I’ve noticed that my muscle mass percentage increases or stays flat and fat percentage and weight decreases after several days of more extensive exercise and disciplined eating, so I’m pretty sure the readings are not wildly inaccurate as some claim. I’ve lost and kept off more than 12 pounds since mid-January (though with some ups and downs), after nearly a year of plateau when I didn’t have a scale at all; I think being able to track it accurately has been encouraging and having the the kitchen scale makes it much easier to do portion controls, track calories and macronutrients accurately (in conjunction with another app, My Fitness Pal, which has nutritional info for a vast library of foods). I highly recommend getting both, and Triomph’s basic models are affordable, functional, and attractive. If you really can’t be bothered entering the data yourself, they do make one with Bluetooth that is still cheaper than the most-talked-about brand.

I like this scale a lot. I bought it, basically, because I had previously bought a health journal that tracked muscle mass percentage as well as weight, and because I'm a little bit OCD and didn't want to leave part of my journal empty, I had to buy something that would help me measure body fat/muscle somewhat accurately. I chose this scale because it was reasonably priced and didn't require me to download an app to use it. I'm really happy with my purchase. It's super easy to set up and use, and it fits my family's needs perfectly. Because we're able to program multiple users in AND it doesn't require any app downloading to use it, my kids are able to use it as well. We love that it measures more than just weight and fat percentages too, because now it can serve my family as a tool for checking/maintaining physical health, and not necessarily something that causes obsession over body image numbers. Overall, I appreciate its simplicity and ease of use, and I recommend it for those who have similar needs as my family has.

So far, I am enjoying this scale. If you read the directions, it is easy to program. Some guy did a short video and that is what helped me to make the decision to get this scale. Just make sure you put the scale on a hard, stable floor. I notice a marked difference in weight if I used it on a wood floor as opposed to a hard floor like in a basement. I am just doubtful about the accuracy of the muscle, bone and water percentages. I had my fat percentage done on a SECA scan a few days before I got this scale and that seems close. It just seems like when the weight goes down everything else goes down proportionately regardless if you may have been strength training to build muscle; I don't think it really does the muscle percentage correctly. Overall, at this time, it is helping me to see trends. IMHO The price is VERY affordable!

Have used it for three weeks now--works as advertised. Unlike my old electronic scale, the readings on this scale appear to be consistent and the weight appears to be accurate (unfortunately). If anything it's a little too precise, as it reads to the nearest 2/10 of a pound (haven't tried kg yet) so you have to do your own rounding to the nearest pound. Given how much your weight will fluctuate during the day the extra tenths digit is just unnecessary confusion. I'm not sure why another review pans the BMI measurement; BMI *is* a simple math formula, and the scale uses the same formula your doctor uses. Whether or not BMI has any *meaning* for particular body types is something to take up with the medical profession, not the scale. I don't put too much faith in the actual numbers the scale returns for body fat% and the rest that it measures electrically, as there are better ways to determine those numbers. However, the consistency of the numbers means it should be relatively easy to monitor trends. The only downside to how this scale works is that it asks you to enter your sex, your height and your age so it can determine which tables to use to determine whether you're healthy, overfat, whatever. In other words, once a year you'll have to reset the scale to enter your new age before it can decide how it wants to label you.

I've had no issues with this scale, being mindful of stepping on it carefully. It was pretty easy to set up and I got used to the display of information pretty quickly. It's pretty accurate and I love being able to check my body fat and muscle percentage at home. The BMI calculation and calorie estimate are a great bonus. I want to make a special mention here and thank Triomph most sincerely for making a scale like this that does NOT need a Smartphone to use it. That's absolutely fabulous. I love the fact that it's a simple standalone device that doesn't have any kind of wireless connectivity. We need to keep a few of these options available and I appreciate Triomph for doing just that.

I'm a 5'2" female appx 125 lbs and my bodyfat is appx 28%. This scale indicated appx 21%. I wish! The other values were similar to my old Tanita BC554 which still works great but is showing it's age in scratches and wear (it's about 16 years old). Other short reviewers expressed the same problem (now that I've read all the reviews). The algorithms need to be modified to make this scale more accurate. I returned the scale. Overall though it's a nice looking scale and was easy to set up and use. My husband is 6' and appx 180 lbs and the scale was accurate for him when comparing values to the Tanita.

The scale works great! It is very accurate. The only issue I had was the batteries seemed to not be secure in the battery section in the back.. The first few time I used the scale it didn’t work when I just stepped on it so I had the mess around with the batteries. It was like the terminal parts were bent. Lastly, I can’t figure out how to keep the person info saved (maybe it doesn’t save) not sure. All and all good product and highly recommended! You can’t find a digital scale this good for the price now a days

Machine and box were broken , the unit button for conversion was missing. Had to convert weight from lbs to kgs on google to see.

I really like this BMI bathroom scale. It's very functional and capable, and best of all, looks great. Pros: 1. Looks great in any location. As opposed to regular bathroom scales, this one is beautiful and you won't have to hide it in a closet or washroom. It's made of glass, which makes it look classy. 2. 180kg capacity. Great capability for its small size. 3. Very slim, small lightweight product. 4. Uses 4AAA batteries (included!). 5. Easy to operate. Allows measurements in imperial or metric, and has memory settings for different people. 6. Easy to read, with large digits. Cons: None. But really, be aware the fact it is glass over black background means it is a print magnet. But the fact it is glass also means it is very easy to wipe clean. A great product, with only positives. The package is great, very small and protective box.

I wish it had an app to integrate with, but at the same time all the one's with apps had horrible reviews. For a non-app full body composition scale in the home, the price is fair, it seems very accurate, and it's very easy to use. I ended up setting up a google form that i just punch my info in to and it tracks / charts it for me in google docs. Not as handy as one with a solid app, but for the price, the size, and construction materials I think this does a great job. I like that it doesn't have a huge footprint in the bathroom, but it's also large enough to comfortably stand / fit on. I'm happy with the product as long as it continues to stay accurate.
