I tried connecting via Bluetooth from my phone to both the CarPlay unit and my cars radio. Audio starts playing on the CarPlay unit via the speaker and then, I have to manually push "play" on my car radio. Once I do that, I can use Bluetooth to control the music. Every time I time I use the CarPlay unit to modify the music via Siri or the unit itself it will switch back to the speaker. If I just want to change volume or advance a song via the steering wheel controls seems to work fine. Its not a perfect solution. I recently bought an Aux cable because I found it clumsy. **Q: Will it pair to existing Bluetooth in my car?** A: The Product has built in speaker or you can connect it to your cars speakers by either AUX cable or thru the built in FM Transmitter. **Q: Is there an option in the settings to rotate the screen so that I can have the all the ports coming out of the right instead of the left?** A: No. I rechecked the settings and there’s no way to rotate the screen. I am a cord freak. I had cords and always hide them, this was a challenge but not bad. Sound quality through fm transmitter is really good so I could eliminate the aux cord. It has to be plugged in via cigarette lighter/ car charger to be able to turn on and you have to use your phone charger to get car play to work (even brand new cars require you to plug your phone in for car play so I’m fine with the phone charger but this big power cord had to be hidden. So I took apart my dash/ radio area to run the cord behind it and hide it. It look about 40 minutes but I am not a car girl so took longer to figure out how to take it apart lol. But the end product is beautiful and I am very satisfied!! My car is a Lexus CT200h so I can’t just replace the screen for car play, I would have replace the screen and completely rewire everything which I was not doing and would have cost $500 to do it myself and probably $1000 if I bought the needed materials and paid someone to do it. So to do this for $288 is great.
