Do these stick out of your ear a little?

Yes. Recommend warming the ear plugs in your hand before forming one end by squeezing it smaller then gently inserting into your ears. But they will stick out which is good since you want to pull them out in the morning.

Are these the original formula? The new size and material don't fit my ears.

I need earplugs to stop booming bass from a stereo? Will these do it?

These are excellent, soft, foamy and keep out the noise that I need. I don't know if they would BLOCK booming base, but would likely decrease it quite a bit.

Is the box purple and green like in the photo?
