Great set of tools for opening fresh and young coconuts

Very useful. The wood-handle tool to scrap the interior is a bit flimsy, but you can use a spoon anyway. It also depends on how hard the coconut flesh is, so I do not blame them for a faulty design, on a soft coconut it works just fine. Everything else is perfect and makes opening a coconut easy, as long as you cut the top first... Very recommended.

I was thinking it was working well, but after twenty coconuts the metal knife broke. Sad because it was much easier to remove the green husk with the round cutting tool, and the size worked for all my coconuts I used. I like the ease of opening. It’s still sharp, and I will probably still use the kit to open more coconuts.

Everything worked pretty well, except the tool you hammer the top to cut and take the top of the coconut off. The tool to cut the top off was absolutely useless. I tried it on three different coconuts with the husk off, barely even made an ident. Everything else in the kit was great though! Definitely worth the price, but if you are buying expecting to the take top off with that tool, think again. I ended up just using the spear and hammer to crack them open.

It came with everything I need to open my coconuts. The tools are sharp enough to get through the round shell. It’s easy to use as long as the coconuts does try to roll away lol. This was worth every penny and it’s easy to clean the tools.

Handy for cracking open coconuts that we get to drink the water from. We can make our own coconut milk or feed to the dogs with what we can get from the inside of the shells

After trying all the tools, we never managed to open a coconut. We got the drill out and it did the job. Don’t bother!

Only thing that really works is the mallet and massive hole puncher. The smaller one requires huge amounts of strength and only really works on very soft shells. The straw puncher works in conjunction with the mallet. And the jelly scraper is poorly designed, coming apart after one use. The non slip mat is useless and the mallet STINKS. All the nut puncher tools only work on coconuts that have been shaved down to the nut beforehand.
