I specifically chose these because I saw it had a hole in the middle. The adhesion was ok sticking to wood. I am not sure if it was meant for that or not to be honest, but it did stay for me to put a screw through the middle for cable management. They worked like a charm. I was able to hang all of my cat5e through the basement ceiling they are extendable and can pull back out which makes it nice when I needed another cable after I was done. I will probably buy more of these in the future. I was able to fit in Cat5, coaxial in the same grouping. I am going to try my luck at some of the power cables to get that all cleaned up. If you are looking for a crazy inexpensive way to run your cables then I would suggest getting these for sure.
