No, if they say capsules they are capsules. Houston makes chewables, you just have to search for it that way. Hope this helps.

Why is there no expiration date?

I've been ordering these enzymes for many years. The expiration dates are on the bottom of the bottles.

Is this the same as trienza?

No it is not the same product. Actually Trienza is a combination of three different products (Aft-Peptizyde + Zyme Prime + No Fenol); each one supports digestion of different foods: protein, carbohydrates and fruit and vegetables respectively. Trienza is OK if you use 2 or 3 of these products. However, it means that you have to take two or more instead of one capsule. I use these for my son who has many digestive issues. I prefer to target the food, so I give him no-fenol when he eats fruit, zyme prime for carbohydrates, or the Peptizyde for proteins. In a regular meal with all of these foods he takes 1 capsule of each. He would have to take 4 capsules or more Trienza to get the same amount of enzymes.
