If you have a small beverage refrigerator, and you cannot hear the compressor turn on, likely its this part that has gone bad. Took literally 2 minutes to remove the old part, and 2 minutes to install this replacement.Typically this part when you shake it will sound like there is a loose part, mine did not do that, but when testing with a multimeter there was no continuity seen, so I knew this was it.Dont pay a repair person $100 to do this, and this $8 part and do it yourself will fix it.

I couldn't find the exact part number so I tried to come as close as I could and even though this part worked for our medium sized small fridge, we wanted to get a part that was the most compatible. We were very thankful to have it until we reordered.

It’s saved me a couple of hundred. So I didn’t have to replace my mini fridge.

This is yet another replacement PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient starter) used in "inexpensive" wine coolers and small refrigerators imported from China. There are several YouTube videos on how to replace these. It takes about ten minutes, a screwdriver, and possibly a needle nose pair of pliers. My refrigerator was actually a "beverage cooler", Whirlpool Model WBC127BLS, imported from China by W. C. Wood Company, Ltd of Guelph, Ontario and is about 15 years old.

I had high hopes for this, but it only lasted about over a month.
