I keep this journal with me all the time, writing in it constantly... happenings, thoughts, ideas, diagrams, to-do's... Perfect size for sticking in a purse or bag. Opens flat for the most part and can write across pages. Cover is flexible and so I can fold it back making writing easier. Grid is small and light grey which is unintrusive. Paper surface is smooth and takes pen and pencil well. I will be buying more of these.

I love these. I use them for my daily journals because of their flexible covers, high quality construction, number of pages, and the graph paper. You can draw, write, tape, glue, paint, and over-stuff them. They just keep going. :)

I love this journal, it's perfect for my intentions (stats class) and exactly as pictured.It's size is a bit smaller than it comes off from the picture, about the size of a novel. The black exterior tends to get dirty quick and show fingerprints, but still feels very high quality. This is the notebook one would get to do research, take notes or devise a lesson plan; the grids make it perfect for writing of any kind to stay precise and organized.

I bought the "used" version because, usually, it's a cosmetic issue so so small that I can put a sticker on it or the like. And, again, I was right. In fact, I couldn't tell the difference between the brand new one that I looked at last month at the bookstore and this one. One hot hair dryer later, I effortlessly removed the sticker on the back cover.The book is very lightweight and flexible. The covers roll and retract easily. I've yet to find a flaw in any of the pages - no milling or printing faults.And, if you like to bullet journal and want something with a smaller grid for more content, you'll like the grid size. If you're a drafter, you'll like it, too (it reminds me of all of my dad's drafting supplies when he was a drafter putting himself through engineering school; I ALWAYS had the BEST school supplies!)The reason that this is only 4 out of 5 versus 5 out of 5 is the page weight. Now, I wasn't expecting a heavy page weight. Heck, it's in the description. However, there is some ink bleeding and feathering with some common ink supplies. I like to set aside a few pages in the back to test different inks. So far, the Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens are best suited if you want the least bleed through with using color.For just pens? Microns work REALLY well. I've been very happy with the paper to ink tolerability. Of course, Microns and micron types tend to do well.Sharpie is just OK for this paperweight. Even the Ultra Fine had some ink bleeding. I recommend putting a barrier between sheets. My barrier of choice is just a few heavy sheets of paper to get a more natural feel while writing, sketching, plotting, etc...****Ideally, I've found that Micron pens and high pigment colored pencils (I use watercolor pencils for their pigment even when I'm not planning on using them for watercoloring; Derwent is my favorite) make for the best combo.If you just have to have INK, INK, and ONLY INK... the Microns and Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Pens are your best bet.

I absolutely LOVE these notebooks! I've never been able to find a planner that has everything that I would like, so I a year ago I picked one of these up from Barnes & Nobles to use as a bullet journal. Like I said, it has been a year and I've hardly filled half the book. And that's with a calendar for the year, each month, and each week, plus several charts and lists for various projects. These notebooks are surprisingly sturdy and compact. Even the paper holds up an amazing amount. On two of the pages, I drew and erased (drew and erased, and drew and erased again and again) a design for a crochet project I was working on and the paper held up long past the point other papers would have worn away. I was really surprised. These are great for organizing information such as lists and charts, but especially anything where each section has to be the same, such as calendars.I recently bought a second of these notebooks to use as a reading notebook. I have a "form", I guess you could call it, for each book so I can keep information on the author, background info on the book, a list of characters, their traits & arcs, themes & motifs, and then any important quotes. But these are the kind of things this book is good for: lists, charts, and organizing information. Now I'm thinking of getting a third one to keep mythology and folklore studies in. The possibilities really are endless with these notebooks.

This is my second journal. The first journal I got was perfect. This one--the quality is good, the smell is obnoxious! It looks like the manufacturer changed something (new plant or materials?) but these smell like rotting fish dumped in a chemical waste :( Very disappointed.

Get them at Barnes and noble, these are incredibly overpriced. They are $10 every day of the week and they run coupons all the time. Even the manufacturer charges less than half of the price here.But as far as the book itself goes, it's great. I have 27 of them 😁 yeah. 1 for daily use and 26 on backup (exact number that fit on my this end up shelf)As far as I'm concerned it's the last notebook I'll ever need and I bought more than enough to get me from my ADN degree to Nurse Practitioner. And all of them cost less than taking my boards 😊The first 182 pages were all that was needed to get me through all of medsurg 3. I really wish I had stumbled on these prior to my last class of Nursing school.Set it up as a book with a "Omnidex" in the front and a "microdex" for each system related subsection and cross link the info with an infinity sign and the pg number with a rectangle around it and it'll be the best study resource you've ever had (this from a person who used to take his MacBook to every class...)Also the lihit lab smart fit cover fits it perfectly.
