Perfect for Professional & Gaming Use - Excellent Value
We recently installed this monitor in a newly renovated private office at our coworking space. We needed a display that fit our budget while delivering reliable performance and vibrant visuals for client productivity—plus enough quality for gaming sessions. The USB-C connectivity was a must-have for us. It creates a clean, cables-free look and works seamlessly with both Mac and Windows laptops that our clients use. No adapters, no docking stations, no fuss. I'm typically not a fan of 1080p displays, so we always opt for 1440p to get that crisp, sharp clarity that makes a real difference for detailed work. This monitor delivers exactly that—text is clear, colors pop, and the overall image quality exceeds expectations for the price point. For anyone outfitting an office or upgrading their workspace, this is an exceptional value. Professional-grade performance without the premium price tag. Highly recommend

Glorious piece of technology. Yes, you need this monitor.
I was initially concerned about buying a Philips monitor because I assumed the quality would not be on par with other well-known brands. The reasonable price, 4 year warranty, and good reviews are what led me to settle on this monitor. PANEL The screen itself is bright. I tend to keep the brightness level around 85-90. 1. Text looks clear both in the middle and the sides 2. Contrast is good 3. Images look great 4. Colors are quite accurate - I have not made any changes to customize the colors of the panel. Out of the box the colors looked good to me. I am not planning on using this monitor for editing photos. I have another monitor that is more geared towards creative work. AESTHETICS The whole monitor looks great. Even the back has sort of a brushed look. I love it! CURVE I really enjoy the curve. I have heard some people say that the curve takes time to get used to, but getting used to it seemed easy to me. I don't think I would want a monitor wider than this. The size is perfect. Thankfully the monitor I received was in perfect condition. No dead pixels. Philips dead pixel policy is not clear at all. I hope that this will never be an issue. The 4 year warranty seems pretty awesome. Seems like Philips will stand behind their product. GAMES I have not yet tested any serious games on this monitor, but I will soon and post an update here. I did play some Roblox and the game filled the whole screen. Any content that fills the whole screen is really awesome. USB-C My work laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad. The USB-C port on the laptop where I plug the power adapter did nothing when I connected the monitor using the supplied USB-C cable. This is probably a misunderstanding on my part. There is a secondary USB-C port on the laptop that has an energy bolt next to it. When I plugged the monitor into that USB-C port, the laptop displayed on the monitor in 1440p, and the laptop was receiving a charge from the monitor. Pretty amazing. STAND The stand is very sturdy. The screen can tilt up & down, twist left and right, and can raise up & down. Very happy with this. SPEAKERS The speakers are great if you consider they are built-in speakers, not dedicated reference monitors. It's a very welcomed addition, and they do the job. PURPOSE People may settle on this monitor for different reasons. For me the biggest reason was work. Having this monitor for work is a total dream. I am an IT engineer, so being able to have Visual Studio Code, PowerShell, Outlook, and the Azure portal all open at the same time (I have a 2nd monitor) really helps with productivity. A creative professional may want to avoid the curve and go for a panel with even higher color accuracy. A gamer might want more than 100hz to keep gameplay as smooth as possible. If you are looking for more screen real estate and you want to be more productive, then this monitor is for you. Side note: Amazon's characteristics for this item don't make any sense. They asked me to give a rating for the "sheerness" and "thickness" of the monitor.

Great value 34" Curved for WFH multaskers
I originally purchased a Samsung 34" curved with USB-C docking, thunderbolt, etc for around $200 more. 3 months into it, it broke and they were a nightmare to deal with regarding a repair/replacement so I got a refund and purchased this Philips instead. That first monitor malfunctioning was the best thing that could have happened. The Good: I'm very satisfied withe the overall performance of the Philips. Easy to connect to both my MacBook Pro and MacBook Air using the thunderbolt cable for charging and audio/video signal transfer. Picture quality is solid, I don't game so I can't make any reference to that but the screen real-estate and curvature are excellent, can work for hours without fatigue. It really is a game changer. You can have 3 full sized windows open at the same time and some smaller ones, the configurations are endless. I'm sure there are many features that I haven't event tapped into but, for an everyday work-from-home solution, it's great. Cons: I can't get the USB-C docking station to work properly, haven't reached out to customer service yet but thus far hasn't been a major point of contention. The Speaker sound is mediocre at best, if you're going to watch movies or videos and sound quality is important, i'd recommend using headphones or upgrade to external speakers. Overall very happy with this monitor, let's hope it lasts.

Love this monitor... not Amazon delivery
I bought this monitor for work. I cannot express how much I love this monitor. it's big enough to have outlook and MS Teams opened PLUS have my working document or project plan front a center. I can keep up with everything. Plus having this much room, I am able to see email details and update my project plan without having to jump back and forth. best money i spent this year. Oh... laptop plugs into the USB-c for video and it charges the laptop so one less cord to worrry about. Build quality is good. Size is perfect for me. Plenty of adjustments to suit my requirements My only complaint is with Amazon delivery. It was supposed to be next day delivery but ended up being two weeks. they "lost" my order in transit and didnt want to ship another till they found this one. two weeks... then oh... we found it in a warehouse in Penn so it will be to you two days now. really... amazon experience on this order... :(

Trash monitor, I don't understand the reviews
I have a Mac Mini and have had this about six months and decided to go ahead and get it out of the box to connect it. I knew I would have to adjust some settings but I have a horrible cheap display that looks like it's from 1986. I cannot find anything in the manual, or online to assist. I attempted to download their driver on their website to help with controls, none direct you to anything mac related and the one that wasn't marked windows didn't work at all. I'm starting to think if you have a mac product this is not compatible. Please move on to another monitor. HUGE HUGE HUGE waste of money. At MINIMUM, make the controls self-explanatory to where people can make adjustments. Sat here for hours and could not figure it out. This is going to Facebook Marketplace tomorrow. Pawn this off on someone else. All the colors are so bright and distorted.

Great for the Price
This PHILIPS 346E2CUAE 34" Curved Monitor is a gem of a monitor, often overlooked by reviewers. I bought it on sale for $370 a couple of weeks ago, though I see it is currently at its full price of $419. At $370, it's hard to beat. At $419, there may be other options to consider. But it seems to go on sale frequently. It works flawlessly with my 2020 Mac Mini M1. Plug and play. Bam! There it is. No flicker, no spurious shut-downs that other reviewers have warned of. I am not a gamer. I use this monitor for productivity. Installation is easy and the USB-C port is a useful addition. One of the best features is that there are four USB-A ports (two powered, two data-only) on the left side of the monitor that are easy to access. I don't know why most monitor makers place their extra USB ports tucked away inaccessibly in the back of the unit. But Philips has avoided this issue and provides ports aplenty. I've tested the ports with thumb drives and with a Logi webcam and they all work well. NOTE: I have the monitor connected to my Mac Mini via HDMI for the picture AND via USB-C to power the USB-A ports and for data transfer. It arrived from the factory with near-perfect settings, requiring only minor adjustment of contrast and brightness. On-screen controls and power are easy to access through five buttons on the bottom-right of the frame. A couple of things you should be aware of: (1) Image on the screen is best viewed while sitting directly in front of the monitor. Viewing at oblique angles, either vertically or horizontally, you will notice considerable fading of the image. But viewed straight-on, color is good and brightness is good. (2) The stand provides vertical and tilt adjustments, but no swivel. That's not a problem for me. But you should be aware in case you need that capability. At the $370 price point, this is a monitor that is hard to beat.

This is a great display. Every element is well designed.
I really like this display. It is a perfect match for my MacBook Air. It is 1440i resolution, which is a perfect match for a Mac. I drive it with USB C. All of the elements of the display are well thought through. The stand work great. It has a built in USB B and C hub, where I connect my keyboard and mouse. It is a cut above the typical no-name monitor.
