The traditional whistle used by the English Shepherd to command his faithful sheep dog to round up and bring home the straying sheep. Silver plated nickel, once insert in the mouth it is manipulated with the tongue to produces a widely varying range of pitches.

But not too much or it doesn't work. 1 year later: i lost thst one, ordered anotber and it's fun.....and LOUD AF once you master it... mine i find the best way to have a consistent loud first whistle is to spit just prior to.puttung it in, and you'll be a pro.....swallowing doesn't work....I tried It's pretty easy to.coat it in nickel if you want, YouTube and it gets rid of the brass taste.... just make sure you have all your adjusting done to the loudest possible whistle that you can make out of it. I find when it's a non-even bent it's even louder
Review: Ayant visionné des vidéos de bergers anglais qui utilisent ce genre de sifflet pour communiquer des ordres à distance avec leur chien (généralement des Borders-collies) j'ai voulu par curiosité en acheter un (vu le prix ce n'est pas une folie) pour rappeler mon Groenendael. Après quelques heures d'essais et beaucoup de patience j'ai réussi à trouver la bonne manière de le placer en bouche contre la langue : maintenant je l'utilise pour rappeler mon chien, le son est puissant, on peut le moduler et il l'entend de loin. Je l'ai toujours sur moi en promenade dans la nature (pas en ville car je craindrais d'être accusé de harcèlement de rue par les jolies filles qui passent... LOL). À noter que je n'ai jamais réussi à siffler avec mes doigts dans la bouche alors qu'avec cet accessoire j'y arrive très bien et il me laisse les mains libres. Je suis très fier de pouvoir faire comme les bergers même si je n'ai pas encore réussi à donner des ordres (stop, couché, à droite, à gauche, etc...) comme eux mais mon chien revient vers moi au coup de sifflet quand il est trop loin, ça m'évite surtout de crier, c'est très agréable.

Hey I don't know if this is regular but mine tarnished right away. No se que pasa tengo una hora practicando y sin entrenar a mis perros ya responden al silbato, no se si es porque la frecuencia del sonido se parece al llanto de otro perro o a que, pero estoy muy impresionado
