Very good quality! Included a pest screen. Stainless would hold up better than our existing plastic version. Originally intended to replace a plastic vent that had become brittle with age. This one appeared to be just what I needed. However, the exterior frame (7" square vs current vent frame of 6") was 1/8" too large to fit against my house siding, without re-drilling the large hole for the vent exhaust pipe. Much more work than originally entertained. Wish I could have used it. Ended up buying another plastic one from Lowe's and returning this one. Will have to do....

Worked well, easy to install.

Good quality, good fit & finish, functionally very good. My only complaint is that the top of the outside rises to far from the 4" inlet hole. This translates to - a lot of clearance is requied above the vent. I had to cut the concrete block to drop the dryer exhuast vent down 1".

The dimensions of the product worked perfectly for my use case. My whole house quite vent , vents to the outside of my house under my deck it is a very tight location. This vent worked perfectly. It seems to be made of thicker plastic then my previous vent cover. However, I found one issue with the vent after installing it. The screen behind the louvers is not secured. After turning my house vent on, I went outside to check on it. The screen almost blew completely out. I fixed this issue by super gluing the screen to the plastic vent. This seems like a trivial step that should have been performed at the factory. Or at the very least provide instructions on how to best secure the screen.

The dryer vent works great. The vent closes after the dryer is done, keeping any type of intrusion into your dryer pipping.

The vent cover looks great outside the house and works well. There’s no much noise when we’re outside.
