Bamboo Foldable Floor Shower Mat

I choose products mostly based on true reviews. I value the input of real users, so I thought I’d tell you about this great product. Bambusi, well done! I am trying to give a tired bath a relaxing, spa look. As part of it, I’m adding new lighting, wood, shelves, etc. This bamboo mat was the 1st (small but bold and successful) step into that transformation. I read sooo many reviews on the several options in Amazon, it was confusing and scary. Broken slats, orange color, mildew in a week, smell... Happy to tell you this was a great choice! Delivery: 48 hrs Packaging: excellent. See picture. Product was appropriately protected (in bag, bag in product box, product box in Amazon box, 2 nicely designed, WELL SPELLED product info leaflets/literature) Also, unlike other reports of other makers, came in one piece as shown in Amazon description. Looks: Excellent quality, well finished, as described, sturdy look, several bottom non slip buttons. Natural color, honey brown. I expected a darker color, but this is beautiful, homogeneous (as opposed to patchy) and safely finished with no rough edges. If later on it needs to match another wood, I’ll use a natural oil to darken it a bit. No smell, natural or artificial. Construction: Solid, well put together on top and bottom (see pics, notice the corners are joined tongue-and-groove instead of tied, nailed or hastily glued together) Strong, thick slats. No creaking or bending of material when standing (or jumping!) on it. Built in a way that slats cannot come off, become unglued, etc. I have not seen others like this in Amazon! See close up in pics. Size: perfect, not too small, roomy, yet fits well in a standard, rather small bathroom. It could be used in front of the sink, I will experiment with that, may get three more for other bathrooms (when budget allows) Mildew resistant: Not critical for me, as this will sit right outside the shower, not inside. Yet, I’ll tell you after a month. Durability: I received it today, so I'll let you know if it doesn’t deliver, but for all I see this will last years! Overall very pleased with a product that arrives fairly fast, is carefully and tastefully packed, and is what they say it is! Buy with confidence, get several from Bambusi! Just what I needed

Smaller than expected however it worked out since it fit perfectly in front of my small shower door. I've had it for about a year and the color slightly faded but I don't mind. It did mold underneath of the mat but I think my poor circulation in my bathroom was the cause of that.

I am a returning customer and have bought this mat 3x already as it is not only sturdy + high quality, but it has an expensive look to it! It is also very affordable compared to other brands I have tried. The wood is sealed with varnish so that it looks very high-end, but the varnish does not make it slippery when wet! That's VERY important for me because I actually use this mat IN the shower, as my tile floor is rather slippery and I needed something that looked nice but would provide some traction beneath my feet. Definitely would recommend this product as my favorite amongst other 24'' x 18'' bamboo bathmats I have tried throughout the years. The only thing I will say, is that if you are planning to use this product inside the shower like I do (and plan on it regularly getting wet for long periods of time) and also like me are too lazy to clean it after every shower.... in my experience I have had to replace the mat every 7 months when the wood begins to deteriorate from the residual water damage (which I will also note is a much slower deterioration than other brands I have tried). This is definitely NOT a fault of the product or design itself, but just something that comes along with ordering a mat made of natural materials....just nature doing it's thing. Overall, love this product and I'm on my 3rd repurchase of it - (have been ordering consistently for the lats 1.5 years, and will continue to do so)!!

Very flimsy. Broken after a few months. Not recommended.

So my shower is very slippery as it has virtually no floor grout lines. I wanted a mat that wouldn't stay on the shower floor as I don't want mold to accumulate. I had read that over time this mat got moldy, so I simply remove after use and let it air dry on its side, on my diatomaceous earth mat post shower (pic 1). After it's dry I will put it back in the shower (Pic 2). I lie it flat before I take a shower. Love it!

We used two of these mats for our outdoor shower and they work great. We have the mats placed on top of bricks so they don’t rest in the water. We also squeegee off the excess water after a shower. This will help them last a long time. From time to time it’s best to give them a coat of oil (teak, linseed, or any oil made for treating wood) We live the finish and look of them. Highly recommend!

I like this product a lot but (probably I didn’t read the description closely enough) I didn’t know it’s not meant for in the shower and will have to reseal with sparr polyurethane. Even so I question a bath mat that the manufacturer says to reseal MONTHLY if frequently wet. Which it absolutely would be even outside my shower. But it’s good looking and comfortable to stand on

As there are rubber feet to keep it off the ground, giving it airflow. It should not have turned black in the joints and come apart after only a few months.

I wipe it down after use and stand it up to dry off. It is well made and I think it will last a long time and is more hygienic than a bath mat.
