I bought this to see if I could find out what type of critters were tunneling under my a/c unit. Armadillos, I suspect, but was hoping to get a glimpse before trying to address that problem.At first inspection this cam seems to be just what I needed. Seems well built and the video and photo quality is quite exceptional.I am new to this type of camera, but do have much experience with smart cams that are used in the home. So, my misgivings are likely due to my inexperience with these units.I was able to get cam up and running and connected. But I have many unanswered questions about some of the features and especially about the app (iphone ver). The instruction booklet that came with it comes up way short. The booklet itself is made for people that have super power vision. It contains illustrations that look like they were micro-printed. The booklet does say that the App Management screen contains Messages, Settings, Help, new firmware, etc. Not on my download.The website is equally useless. No real information here other than sales related brochure info.I'd like to find out why the battery doesn't appear to be charging. When the charger is plugged in, the battery indicator is mostly black, with a tiny amount at bottom showing green. When you unplug it, the green area turns red. My guess is its not charging as it dies shortly after being put is use.I tried to get info about this item before purchasing, but that too was hopeless also as there were so few reviews and obvious small customer base. No help from vendor. Maybe they will see this and reach out? If not, I'll probably be returning the item.

Quite a good quality camera. I have used this in my backyard to catch glimpse into of raccoons runs around. It captured pretty good pictures in dark.Till now i am satisfied with battery backup.Over all pretty good trail camera

Great for basic hunting purposes

Fun little camera, I do not have the solar panel though the batteries seem to last well. I like getting photos because its wifi. Nothing exciting yet, just deer. I want to catch the foxes in the yard.

I bought this trail cam because I live very close to the wilderness and I actually get a lot of wild critters roaming around at night. Owls, racoons, coyotes, opossums. I was looking for something the be able to capture them moving around at night time and capture what they are doing too.Very impressed with the build quality and durability of this trail cam. Since installing it, I have yet to get a good picture or video of my backyard wilderness critters. This may be do in part to where I place the camera.Night shots come out very well and interface is very easy to use if you are familiar with how trail cams work.Also, it has the ability to put a 4G sim card inside it so that it can stream over its own network. I bought a pre-paid simcard from T-Mobile to test it out and it works great. It can be used over WIFI too if you did not want to spend the extra money.Definitely something to consider if you are as interested in backyard wildlife as I am.
