These biscuits are delightful and brought back fond memories of my youth living in Dublin (Ireland).

If you were a child of the 80s or 90s, these biscuits are pure nostalgia in a packet. However, share them with a Gen Alpha kid and they’ll quickly tell you all the ways these are "not modern." 🙅‍♂️ I bought these at the request of a 4-year-old, and while they were a hit, they came with some surprises. Despite pink being her favourite colour, she declared that "the white ones are the best," which was a total shock! ⚪️ > 💗 She was also very surprised by the softness of the biscuit. If you’re expecting a traditional crunch, you won’t find it here; the base is soft and crumbly, making it feel more like a confectionery item than a standard biscuit. ☁️ The Adult Perspective (Transparency & Ingredients): • While children might enjoy the novelty, I have some modern reservations regarding the ingredients. I highly value transparency, and this product feels overly processed: 🧪 • Vague Labelling: The label uses generic terms like "Vegetable Oil" and "Natural Flavourings." In a modern market, I’d prefer to know exactly what oils and flavours are being used. 🧐 • The Sweetener: It relies heavily on Glucose Syrup rather than standard table sugar. While this keeps the mallow soft, it feels like a "highly processed" shortcut. 🍬 • Hidden Additives: Be mindful that these contain pork gelatine and carmine (an insect-based dye), so they are not suitable for vegetarians. 🚫🌱 Pros • A fun, nostalgic trip down memory lane for parents. 🔙 • A hit with the little ones (even if they find the texture "weird"). 👧 Cons • Lacks ingredient transparency. 🔍 • Highly processed with a long list of additives and syrups. 🏭 Overall Verdict These are great for a bit of Irish nostalgia, but they definitely show their age when compared to modern "clean label" snacks. As a millennial who now prioritises quality and transparency, I’ll be looking elsewhere for higher-end, traditional Scottish and Irish biscuits made with real butter and real sugar. These have not earned a spot as a pantry staple in my house. 🏠🛒

nothing to dislike i used to buy them in the past but they were bigger back then but sadly supermarkets stopped selling them ,so im now happy once again you sell them.

I actually was amazed that I could still purchase these remembering them fro my childhood but unfortunately they arrived stale and did not taste as they should have.Too much trouble to return so I will have to just e upset that they were a waste of money.cannot eat them as they don’t taste nice and very stale like they are from years ago
