what is the difference between brazilian wax and regular wax

Brazilian wax is a type of hard wax formulated to make removing coarser hair (such as bikini area) easier with less irritation to the skin.  The first thing to decide when choosing a wax is if you want to use a hard wax or a strip wax. For me, I have coarse hair everywhere and my skin is sensitive to waxing so I find that hard wax works better for everywhere. I literally pulled the brown off my skin trying to use a strip wax on my arm so its either hard wax or shaving.Now, that covers the actual wax itself. If you are talking salon lingo, I believe the word Brazilian refers to what parts you want to be hairless. Brazilian usually means take it all off including between the cheeks.
