I was blown away by this camera. The option to change from a forward looking view to a side view to a split screen view showing both front and side for this price point was money well spent. Using the front camera I was able to see that I reached the T in the drain pipe allowing me to switch to the side camera view to see up and down the pipe. Using the side view I could see no blockage up the vent pipe as shown the first attached picture. The second picture shows the view down the pipe and the blockage. As you can see from the pictures the display quality is awesome as well. It's not grainy nor distorted. One other bonus is the ability to dim or brighten the light using the controls on the screen which also helps to reduce light reflection allowing for the most optimal view. I was in a hurry to try the new camera out so I didn't read the directions to learn about the features right away. I did not try the picture or video recording options, at least not on purpose. I mistakenly made a recording just after taking it out of the box. I found this recording later after I finished the plumbing repair and wanting to learn more about my new little gadget. Although it was of the kitchen area I was impressed by the quality. Given that my neighbor ran into the very same plumbing issue the week prior and spent $475.00 for a plumber to identify and fix the issue, I'd say the $71.99 for the camera and the $54.00 for the snake was a killer savings.

I have used this a few times now and it works very well. The only issue it has is that the cable is so long and flexible that it is hard to control if you are using it at length to check things out
