Every other appliance I have comes with a cord already attached, and most of them are cheaper than my disposal! This was perfect for my Evergrind E202 Disposer. I watched a YouTube video that showed how to connect this. For someone with no electrical experience at all, that was a must. It made the instructions so much easier to understand. I'm afraid I would've messed something up otherwise. I found that the instructions are clear if you have any idea of what you're doing, but not so much if you don't. If you are running a 20amp feed (proper wire and breaker) without a lot of other draws, you will be fine.
