Eccellente pubblicazione ma purtroppo pensavo avesse più illustrazioni o foto per descrivere un argomento così particolare.Per quanto riguarda la spedizione assolutamente perfetta.

Miało być pół roku czekania a dostalem książkę w 2 tyg. Materiał dobry aczkolwiek mozna było wrzucić wiecej fotke sprzętu (np brakuje zdjęć marinesa w zbroi z tyłu, co chcacym zrobić cosplay by się przydało). Za to opisy sprzętu i innych rzeczy związanych z USCM to bardzo ciekawa lektura. Dla fanów filmów, komiksów i gier z serii to pozycka obowiązkowa.

Anyone who is a true fan of the aliens universe and the aliens movie this is a must have it has blueprint for all the weapons vehicles in the movie from the 1986 classic by James Cameron. It’s the perfect gift for someone who is a fan. It came on the day and time promised it wasn’t damaged. It was imperfect condition. I was very pleased to collect this bit of memorabilia. Each page is filled with detailed information on the Cheyenne dropship the APC. The smart gun. The pulse rifle. The flamethrower. The grenade launcher. And other things that the US Colonial Marine Corps. Use the things there that you never see in the movie weapons it’s just chucked full of techno bubble with really 80s retro vibe. The artwork is brilliant. You won’t be disappointed.

La película ALIENS (Aliens 2) me encanta. Que mejor que comprar esta guía tecnica de todo lo relacionado con los marines coloniales. La calidad de impresion es buena y el papel también tiene buena presencia. El libro tiene textos e ilustraciones en blanco y negro pero tambien contiene láminas en color bastante detalladas asi que no los decepcionará. Viene bastante informacion sobre los marines coloniales y explica desde como se conforma el ejercito de cuerpo de marines coloniales hasta los tipos de formación que existen para el ataque. Los vehiculos y armas vienen explicados a detalle e incluso ciertos informes de los soldados en acción. Casi toda la información contenida esta basada en lo que vimos en la película y no esperen encontrar muchos articulos, naves o vehiculos diferentes a los qu eya conocemos. Algo que no me gustó es que muchas imagenes vienen a blanco y negro o simplemente vienen como un boceto de esos que se hacen con una pluma en un papel, también vienen algunos blueprints o planos que resultan de muy mala calidad pues vienen a una escala muy pequeña y no se aprecian los detalles. Veredicto: Este libro contiene información detallada de todo el armamento, vehiculos, entrenamiento y organización de los soldados que aparecen en la película ALIENS, Si quieres saber todo lo posible sobre los marines coloniales y eres fan de la película como yo.. tienes que tener este manual. Se lo ordeno soldado! Pero si lo que quieres es ver ilustraciones de la película o del universo de aliens en general este manual no saciara tu hambre.

I came upon this in the Calgary Public Library something like 20 years ago and it just blew my mind. Here were all the toys that we saw blowing up bugs in ALIENS broken down for analysis for an ALIENS nerd like me. They didn't stop at the M-41A pulse rifle or the M-56 smart gun, there were a whole bunch of other weapons that they made up just to whet your appetite for destruction. Sure, this doesn't do anything to advance any story in any meaningful way, but I don't think that was the point at all. It was just a fun project to make and distribute so other fans could enjoy. Great coffee table book.
