303 (230395-100PK) Instant Windshield Washer, 25 Tablet (Pack of 100)

I was surprised in 2021 to hear that auto parts store had a hard time keeping window washer fluid in stock. I live in Texas and we get a lot of annoying things on our windows like bugs, dust and tree sap. Since the parts store didn’t have any washer fluid I scanned Reddit and they highly recommended this product. The pellets came in a small tube are the size of a grape. You drop them into your washer fluid container in your car and add a gallon of water. That’s it. It mixes fine in warm weather. It’s so convenient I just left the tabs in the glovebox in case I run out of fluid away from home. Also, there’s a weird number of comments saying that you need to add extra chemicals and break up the tablets to get it to dissolve faster. I’m sure those methods work but this stuff dissolves fine in about an hour in nothing more than standing water. If you don’t need washer fluid instantly just follow the simple and cheap instructions. Lastly, it cleans my windows fine. I learned things like windex aren’t designed for car windows and can possibly damage your paint. This fluid produces good clarity and I don’t find myself using any more or less fluid when cleaning the window. This is a great product more people need to know more about. You can keep it in your glovebox just in case and always be sure you can fill up your washer fluid. You just need one of these tablets and a gallon of water.

I got this windshield washer additive because I needed a clean windshield in all types of weather. It gets quite cold here in the winter(routinely -20C or -4F, and sometimes down to -40C/F). I switch between summertime washer fluid and winter washer fluid and no matter which washer fluid I try they don't keep the windshield clean and free of bugs or greasy road film. I was tired of dealing with the greasy film on the window all the time and now I don't have to. I added one tablet to each 4 liter/1 gallon jug and I noticed an immediate change as soon as I put this product in my car. My windshield is now clean. I chose this product over the liquid ones as it is easy and cheap to ship and easy to store in the car. I did notice however that the tablets don't dissolve quickly if the fluid is really cold, so I had to warm up a cup in the microwave a little. Once the liquid was a little bit warm the tablets fizzed and dissolved in a couple minutes.

I travel extensively through rural areas and bug splatter is a huge problem. Literally more bugs than clean windshield. Have to stop at gas stations to clean my windshield even when I don't need gas! Year after year of the same crap. Tried auto manufacturer factory solutions over the parts counter, Prestobe Bug Wash, Rain X bug wash, straight Windex (expensive experiment), homemade concoctions of vinegar ammonia and dishwashing liquid, you name it I've tried them all. Nothing works. My problem was that I limited myself to what I could find at Wally World, dealerships or local auto parts places. Decided to check amazon and sure enough here I am... Ordered this to try it out and to my complete amazement I've finally found something that works on smeared, splattered, crappy bugs!!!!!! As long as your aren't driving so fast that your wipers are lifting, this product works like a charm. Literally melts away the bugs. The best part is you can keep a few tablets in your glove box and each tab is good for a full washer fluid refill. I experimented a little because I was concerned with the tablets incompletely dissolving. If anything gets into your jets they will clog and stop spraying so be careful with dissolving tablets. I used a standard 16.9 oz bottle of Aquafina water. Of course any bottled water will do but the point is to dissolve your tablet in the bottle to confirm there are no chunks. Took about 5 minutes and there were a few floaters. I poured the solution into my tank and when I got to the bottom where the floaters were I threw the rest away. Top off with fresh water and you're good to go. Couldn't be easier. Great product that actually works. I also ordered P21S and Eizensatt washer fluid boosters but haven't tried them yet. Will post reviews for those products after I run out of the 303. Hopefully those work great for bugs too but now that I know this works it really doesn't matter anymore.

This is much, much cheaper than the $3 or $4-a gallon windshield washer that comes as the actual fluid. I'm not sure it's as effective, though. I used to use Rain-X brand fluid which worked pretty well, but this stuff, while it seems fine, doesn't seem quite as good. Next time I might try mixing it slightly more concentrated, although I don't know if that will negatively affect my car. It's convenient, and a roll of tablets is a lot easier to store than a jug of fluid, so at least I can have plenty of this on hand so I won't run out. Took maybe 5-10 minutes to mostly dissolve in a gallon jug of water.

I wish I found out about these windshield fluid tablets a long time ago! Heard about it on a car forum I visit. Now remember, if it's below 32 degrees, the water will freeze in the washer fluid reservoir in your car! What I had to do was add these tablets to a -20 degree Fahrenheit "anti-freeze" winter washer fluid bottle. All that means is they added Methanol to the water to help it not freeze in you car's reservoir. Most of it evaporates quickly when being sprayed at the windshield.. Ok.. with that said.. I did have to dissolve the tablet in a small tray of HOT water first. Otherwise there were bits that didn't dissolve.. So about 1/4" of water in a cup (solo plastic is what I used) that's hot tap water, dissolves in about 10 min, then I pour that into the winter washer fluid jug. The performance? are you kidding me?! WOW! Finally something that can clean all that winter slush/grime off the glass! The first pass of the blades cleaned off that salt-spray we have on the Michigan roads!! The return pass of the blade to the "home" position was just extra! It's that good! I bought a couple of these tablets I'll be using them from now on! Love it!

Easy to store in the car and remove dirt and grease very well.

I cannot express how much I love these Windscreen Washer Tablets! They have saved me so much money and hassle. I used to constantly buy expensive pre-mixed washer fluid, which not only added up in cost but also took up space in my garage. These tablets have completely eliminated the need for me to buy pre-mixed fluid. I simply drop one tablet into my washer fluid reservoir, add water, and voila - I have a perfectly effective and budget-friendly washer fluid solution. Not only do these tablets save me money, but they also clean my windshield exceptionally well. I've noticed that they leave my windshield streak-free and crystal clear, even after driving through bug-infested areas. Another great thing about these tablets is their convenience. They come in a compact package that takes up hardly any space, making them perfect for storing in my glove compartment or trunk. Overall, I can't recommend Windscreen Washer Tablets enough. They are a game-changer in terms of cost savings and effectiveness. Five stars!

Seems to work but it does take quite awhile to dissolve. If you put it in a jug be aware to really shake it. Best to put in well ahead of use. Not sure if you drop tablet in reservoir how long it takes. Maybe with heat of engine it’s quicker.

Pleasantly surprised to see how efficient this was, ADDED TO EXISTING supposed ‘bug’ windshield washer fluid. Alone, the bug washer fluid was fair at best, adding the tablet to it MADE A NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE! Well worth the investment in the summertime when bugs are at their worst!
