I bought the B-100 to replace our helm seat on an aging pontoon. To be honest I assumed that the side straps would be in the way, cut into my legs, or just be annoying. I was wrong...I am 6' and 300 lbs. The seat is very comfortable and holds my weight easily, even when sitting for an hour or two. Construction seems very robust and no raised eyebrow moments when first setting it up. The airflow is wonderful on warm days, and the side straps are not really even noticable. As others have noted the mount does slide the seat forward a bit, or at least it seems to, but caused me no issues. The way the seat frame is constructed a person could easily customize the mount bracket location. I don't know how it will hold up, but for the first 4 days of use I have nothing but good things to say. It's probably a little overpriced for what it is, but competes well with other seat designs and prices. 5 stars and would buy again.... Update after 1 month...seat rocks and wish my fishing boat had these instead of the standard crestliner seats. Elite CNC Routing and Woodworks makes some AWESOME accesories for this seat. I bought one and love it also

Great chair! Replaced the straps with the smaller cables - worked great, more comfortable back position! Update: It had a tiny nick in the middle of the seat and now it’s growing so…. Hope this isn’t the beginning of the end! Update: Seems to be holding up really well!!

Got it for my pond prowler 10 after searching for replacement seats. After checking out the padded ones which appeared to all be chinese garbage, this one caught my eye. I was skeptical as it didn’t look as fancy and wasnt padded. Looked like a patio chair! Well, after multiple trips and hours of use it’s the best seat I’ve ever had. Comfortable, light and breathable! No sweaty back with this, no hot leather. Perfect. Now I gotta get another for when I bring a buddy cause they are jealous of my seat!

Haven't had a chance to test the seat in the boat yet but am impressed with the quality and construction and if it works like I hope it will I will be purchasing another seat for the front of the boat.

I have used this seat for two years then boat sat for two years, outside Saskatchewan winters with no tarp ya not good but seat has shown no signs of wear. Definitely worth the extra money. I will bbe getting another
