Is this compatible with the new am4 socket? the cooler came out before am4 was released, but it seems to have a flexible mounting system?

I went to the antec.com website to try to answer your question, but it looks like they have modified their product line and that model is no longer listed. I suggest you go there and email or call product support or sales department as they are usually very responsive.

Can i use my own 2 fans instead of the ones that came included? And if so, what size.

the pumps that circulate the water in this unit share motors with the fans that are supplied, therefore if you remove the factory fans ( i assume to put lower profile ones on ) the circulating pumps will no linger circulate water imagine with a great deal of effort you could accomplish some kind of hybrid system but why? get a corsair i did and i have never looked back...

About how loud can it be?
