Can't speak to the actual contents of the book as it's a gift but the recipient seemed to enjoy the other Star Trek Autobiographies I've given them, so hopefully this will be well recieved, despite some minor damage.

very interesting insight to the life and times of Mr Spock. I reccomend reading if you love and admire his character. You truly learn so much more about him, the people around him and Vulcan, and will leave you with so much more appreciation for the character. Finished reading with a smile on my face and tear in my eye. Again, I heavily reccomend this book.

Given that it includes plot points from Strange New Worlds, Discovery, and Picard, this book had a surprising amount of material that was new to this old Star Trek fan (who hasn't kept up with the new material). I'm not sure that I LIKE the new material, but I think I'm happier reading about it than I would have been seeing it played out onscreen, and in any case it was worthwhile to be brought up to date. There were a few too many typos for me to grant the book 5 stars, but overall the writing was good and the characters felt true to what I expect to see.
