NOVICA Hand Painted Talavera Large Ceramic Wall Cross, Multicolor, 'Jerusalem Rose'

Its beautiful. Very carefully painted, and well made. You may not be able to see it in the picture, but the yellow dots and lines actually have volume and stand out from the surface of the cross like little lines of frosting. Rich, vibrant color, very high quality. It has a nail hole at the top of the cross. It is all porcelain or white clay. Its molded, sort of like a plate, from a sheet of clay that's about 1/4" thick, but its laid over a form so that the edges of the cross are more like 1/2" or 2/3" thick. Its hollow behind.

Beautiful and Large - could be hung with a cord but we were able to carefully hang With a nail.

Bought this for my daughter when she thought she lost the Talavera Cross she recently purchased when we were in Ensenada on a cruise. Even though she did find it, I'm giving this to her for Mother's Day because it is so amazing. By the way, this is a lot bigger than the cross she bought, and was less price than the one she bargained for! I know she will be thrilled! The colors are so vibrant.

A while back I ordered my wife this cross for her birthday, and we both thought it was really a work of art. Having been to Mexico several times in the past we fell in love with the ceramic artistry down there, so this was our first choice. We were making our Christmas buying list, and right away thought of this cross, so we ordered 2 to give to friends. Of all we looked at here on Amazon this was the best looking one. If you are looking for a beautiful wall hanger, this is the one. And it is meticulously packed as well.

Pictures on the Interwebs being one thing, holding it in hand being another, I took a risk and ordered it for my girl. It's just beautiful. Simply put, it put a smile on her face upon opening the carefully packaged box. Mission accomplished. Nice details, colors are vibrant, arrived on time and well packaged. I've just ordered another item from NOVICA based on our positive experience. Just thought to share a quick review as I saw no other. I absolutely loved this item and actually gasped when I unwrapped it... it was so beautiful more so then i imagined. Unfortunately I was overexcited and dropped it and it smashed into a milliion pieces
