This USB isolator did what the description said it would do, and did what others in the comments section said it couldn't do! I am using this do isolate ground loop noise on a USB/MIDI keyboard. The keyboard utilizes a combination of USB as well as analog audio. I could have also isolated the ground loop noise with a DI box. However, I did not want to insert anything in the audio path that would compromise the audio's bandwidth integrity. This isolator completely eliminated all the noise, 100%. As for performing above specification, the description says it has a limit of 200 mA. However, my keyboard per spec requires 250 mA. I took a chance, and this isolator never went into overload or shut down over a 5-hour show. Chances are my keyboard may not have been drawing more than 200 mA, but the specification for this isolator is very conservative and certainly accounts for some headroom.

I have a Yamaha Modx Synth and for aome reason when performing live with a laptop I had a earth human, this stopped it dead... recommend if you your trying to isolate pc noise in audio

El paquete llego en buenas condiciones, en cuanto a su funcionamiento, me ha cumplido bastante bien. No lo uso frecuentemente, ni para dispositivos de alta corriente, por lo que no he tenido los inconvenientes qué en otras reseñas comentan.

Does what it says. I tested it with a Klein Tools ET920 USB Tester, and a resistance-subsitution-box..which allows one to incrementally adjust to less and less resistance. I got it all the way down to 1 ohm, and 1.3 amps. I did not try this setup with data simultaneously, as I cut the test USB cord in two. I also test this device with the wires shorted in the usb cable (the power wires), and it got 1.03 amps...which is sort of interesting, since they are the same wires that just before had an additional 1 ohm of resistance in the loop...yet had MORE amperage. But, it was close to the same. Likewise, I ran Arduino Micro through it, with USB and tested up to 2Mbps, quiet successfully. I'm looking to use some other kind of microcontroller and test up to the full 12Mbps. I did try two of my external-USB-Harddrives and neither would usb-post. They were only looking for about 0.58 amps when trying to spin up, and about 0.4 amps. So, since tested it to 1-1.3 amps with the shorted USB-cord, then my drives must not have worked, simply due to not enough USB-throughput with this isolator. I had hoped to connect things like Oscilloscopes and other expensive test Equipment through one of these. But, the low bandwidth, and USB 1.0 only compatibility is keeping it from working it looks like.
