Of three previous pairs only one sock bit the dust, all the rest are in good shape. For last year I have had to do daily ware, and the medical socks I got through insurance lasted less than one month. Two of the three old pairs lasted more than four months each, and are still going strong. The one sock that failed I think I tore while riding. All the rest still have good compression.The new pair has lost much of the compression after less than 30 days of wear. Totally different. I would gladly pay much more for the old kind.
