Puzzle Buddy Made in the USA!
The Puzzle Buddy was made in the USA. The felt base to make your puzzle on comes in a cardboard tube with 2 velcro strips. Make your puzzle and use the cardboard tube to roll the puzzle up. I used the 2 velcro strips on the ends so pieces had no chance of coming out. I made a third velcro strip (my suggestion) to use in the middle to secure the full puzzle. I'm happy it was made in the USA!

Good Mat for Jigsaw Puzzles
Really nice mat. For puzzles that really snap and stay together, it is perfect. Problems: if the ties get stuck to the felt on the wrong side it is REALLY HARD to get them off. Messes up the mat a little bit. Also, it comes with a puzzle box top holder which does NOT work! It tips over the minute you let loose of it. Not a fan of that. But the mat easily rolls up and keeps my puzzle away from my cat, which was why I bought it. Too many interesting pieces in a jigsaw puzzle for a cat to resist!

Great tool for puzzlers
The puzzle buddy is a simple concept that works! During my beach vacation I worked a 1,000 piece puzzle for 5 days working on two different tables. This was all possible using the puzzle buddy. Just roll-up your puzzle at end of the session and store; I did store horizontally. There would be a few pieces to put back together when I unrolled the puzzle, but worth the ability to store it between puzzle sessions. My only advice would be to roll from both sides of your puzzle as it does tend to creep on the felt with each roll. I love it!

Doesn't quite work for me
I live in a small NYC apartment without a useable permanent surface to do a puzzle. I was looking for something that would enable me to work on a puzzle on the kitchen table at night and then move it out of the way during the day. This mat was good to do the puzzle on and the pieces didn't slip at all, but the rolling action just didn't work for me. I ended up having to rebuild huge portions of the puzzle that fell apart. I just can't figure out how the rolling is actually done without the puzzle falling apart. The mat was good to pick up the puzzle, however, and put it somewhere during the day (e.g. on a bed). It does take two people to move it without messing up the puzzle.

Make certain you get the right size Puzzle Buddy for your puzzle
Love this felt roll-em-up! We'd bought a puzzle, however, there really was no place to leave it and we would have had to somehow keep the puzzle together as we put it aside. I went online and saw this jewel of an idea. I was going to get a bigger sized Buddy, but it would have been a hassle to fit it to my table; glad I went a size smaller though big enough for the puzzle. Glad we got it. It made us more enthusiastic to start the puzzle - we should be done with it soon!

How Did I Ever do Puzzles Before?
The Puzzle Buddy is exactly what I've been looking for. I can now quickly put away my puzzle for another day without taking up the pieces. I brought one of these years ago but gave it to a friend as a Xmas present. She stated that she loved it. When working on a puzzle I often worked on a cardboard and slide it under the bed, sofa or table cloth for safe keeping. Well no more now I can just roll it up and take it with me. I love it!!!!

Not worth the money
I thought this might be the ticket for my 87 year old mom that loves to do jigsaw puzzles but can't use her dining room table because of her habit. So, partially based on other Amazon reviews, I thought I'd give it a try and ordered the Puzzle Buddy 1500 for her. What I should have done is go to my local fabric or craft store and buy a piece of felt (cut to the size I wanted), and then head for the closest building supply store to get a small length of 6" Sonotube. I think I could have saved some money. As for functionality, Mom didn't care for it: her main complaint was that the felt was so spongy it was difficult to snap the pieces into place. I wasn't crazy about the lack of ability to scoot pieces around, and our puzzle kinda kept its curl after unrolling it. So I'm glad other purchasers are happy with this product, but I guess ours is destined for next summer's yard sale. Oh, well. C'est la vie.

Not using it
I wanted to use this to roll away my puzzle to keep it safe from my cats. But I could not stand working on the green felt. It made the pieces stick and it is hard to move them around. Went back to working on foam core board and wrapping it all up safe from running cats
