With Spring here the fresh rhubarb and strawberries are in season which is ideal for making strawberry rhubarb pie, one of my favorites. I love this beautiful deep dish bright cherry red ceramic stoneware pie plate that will go so well when filled with pie! This pie plate has a deep dish profile, white glazed interior and fluted edge that will be super for making and serving pie. This pie plate is sturdy so that with reasonable care as with any ceramic stoneware it will last. There were no defects, chips or glaze problems in this pie plate, it's perfect! Most of these wavy dishes have such shallow interiors, not so here. This pie dish will make a great deep dish apple pie. Very well packed. Nice glazing with bright true colors and other pieces that the company makes to get as a set. I felt the price was reasonable.A great gift for a pie baker or pie lover.

What a bright pretty red baking dish! Today I baked a blueberry coffee cake in it and it turned out great. This dish has an attractive scalloped edge. You can wash it in the dishwasher. This will get lots of use in my home. It’s made well. Recommended.
