These tools are sturdy. I have used the pattern punch yet.

I bought this to notch my paper patterns for cosplay props and armor. While it's certainly possible to do this with an craft knife, the notcher is a great timesaver from the tedium of cutting a bunch of little V's in paper or poster board.I've used the notcher on some pretty heavy poster board and it cut through easily. The other tools in the set have also come in handy in their own ways; so this was well worth my money.

My husband is thrilled with this gadget. He's not said or indicated one negative thing. It is worth the purchase if you need one of these.

Everything was perfect. I wish the awl was a “real” awl instead of a ice pick.

This is the perfect set for me to use on my sewing patterns. One minor issue is that the notcher is a bit rough around the edges, but it gets the job done so 5 stars!

Love the notcher! Only wish I had this years ago. Very useful grouping of items.

Notcher just pushed paper down or rips it it doesn’t punch it At all to dull - the rest of the tools are ok for the money I guess u get what you pay for but I will have to buy a real one now
