a little more detail...
This kit is exactly what I was looking for. I bought two while they were on sale, one for the computer and in the house, one for the car. I'm a little surprised by the negative reviews, but what else is new. While it's not that difficult to figure out, the kit does arrive with no instructions. (Everything fits together only one way, however.) Here are a few points to help avoid confusion. First, the hose part is about 36" long, so just shy of 1 meter. The external diameter of the hose is only 0.6" / 15 mm, so there's little risk of vacuuming up stray socks. This may not be the right tool for extracting taco chip fragments from the depths of the sofa, either. The hose has one end with a black plastic piece already inserted. This is where the attachments plug in. The other end of the hose is unfinished. This end connects to the narrow end of the flow control, which is the large black knurled piece shown on the left in the photo. (Just push the hose over the ridged "barbs" on the flow control piece.) The flow control piece fits a standard 1.25" (35 mm) round US vacuum hose. The flow control piece is the 'female', so the 'male' vacuum hose fits into it. For vacuums with smaller hoses, there's an adapter (also round), the other large black piece, shown on the right in the photo. The adapter has a 1.25" end that fits into the flow control piece, and a stepped end that's a little over 30 mm outside diameter. at one end, and a little under 33 mm O.D. at the other. The inside diameter of the adapter is just over 27 mm. (Not sure what sizes millimeter-denominated vacuums come in.) There are two extension tubes, one straight, one angled. Both are about 5" / 12.5 cm long. There is also a crevice tool and two brushes. The crevice tool is 3.375" / 8.5 cm long, and under 0.45" / 12 mm by 0.2" / 5 mm at the tip.The smaller round brush is about 0.5" / 12.5 mm at the tip. The larger oval brush is just over 1.0" / 27 mm on its long axis. The extension tubes, the brushes, and the crevice tool all plug into the prefinished end of the hose. You can use one or both extension tubes in either order, or you skip them and just plug the other tools into the end of the hose. As noted in some reviews, the flow control piece does not shut down all the way. This seems to be a good thing to me, to avoid burning out the motor on your vacuum cleaner. I'd suggest also opening your vacuum's flow control as well -- most vacuum hoses have a ring or knob you can turn to let more air through. If you're not getting enough suction, I'd suggest putting some tape over one or more of the openings in the flow control. Pay attention to the pitch of your vacuum's motor -- if it goes way up, things are starting to overheat, and it's best to let more air through. All in all, this kit is nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. It's a million times better than those little battery-powered computer vacs you see that have next to zero suction and inadequate means for disposing of anything that does get collected. Based on the negative reviews, some vacuums are a bit like the products of a certain fruit-themed electronics company which prides itself on non-standard connectors. A square connector? Seriously? As a salesman once told me, "you may find a better product, but you will never spend more money".

Brilliant...
What a great little set of attachments. These are perfect for getting into those very small areas to loosen and vacuum up dust and dirt. Yes the out-gassing of that hose smells-and smells awful. However, just store the whole kit in a ziploc and take it out when you use it. It prevents the fumes pervading your whole house and keeps those little bits together; which, if you're anything like me is a huge plus. If it weren't for the pong, quite frankly, I'd have lost half the pieces already! For those who take issue with those additional air vents - they're essential. Your vacuum is not designed to suck air through a half inch hose and it wouldn't take long for the motor to fry. Restricting those holes with your fingers for a few seconds at a time won't do much harm, but continuous use like that definitely will. The "mini-micro" vacuums that are designed for a half inch hose suck, (or DON'T suck) anyway. These inexpensive tools are defined to take care of dry dust. The "congealed" dust climbs you often find in a computer and such are a combination of dust, humidity and often oil,or grease from the fan. These you have to loosen up a little. As far as I'm concerned this is a really great accessory kit with lots of applications and at a great price.

Tiny attachments for tiny jobs
This does not fit a Dyson DC 59 animal, but you can get adapters that will make this usable. I brought this tool which includes an adaptor: I-clean for Dyson Soft Dusting Brush Tool Replacement Vacuum Cleaner Soft Dusting Brush and 32mm (1/4 inch) Connector Adapter Fit For DYSON V6, DC16,DC24,DC30 ,DC31,DC34, DC35, DC62,DC48,DC52,DC59 What it can do: Clean out car cubbies, sliding door tracks, small cracks, drawer organizers, tool boxes What it can't do: Handle anything bigger than a pea. I originally bought this to help clean the lint out of my old dryer, but the diameter of the connection is too small to allow anything to be sucked up. What I like: The adapter attachment has an adjustable vent, so the Dyson clog/overload protection does not get tripped. There is still plenty of suction in both high and low power modes. It really is a micro kit - these pieces are tiny. What I don't like: The connections are not very secure, so tape them up if you risk dropping them out of reach.

The products cost is so high that even you can buy some local vacuum cleaner itself

This is one of the best vacuum cleaner attachment kits! Simple, inexpensive, easy to set-up and it does work just fine. I use it on my SLR & DSLR cameras, lenses, electronics and any small apparatus needing a dust removal. The brushes are not designed to touch the actual lens glass, nor the (D)SLR mirror, let alone the (D) sensor; nor would I try it on static charge sensitive equipment, but on everything else it works great. The various attachments have a good enough suction to pick-up dust around recessed switches and crevices, yet the design prevents the nozzles complete blockage. Recommended! Note: I haven't seen a vacuum cleaner that this would not fit on.

Simple kit to allow more detailed work with a full-size vacuum. I've had mine for years and I exclusively use it for vacuuming out computers and electronic components that need a more targeted touch. Does a particularly good job with keyboards. It lacks the power of a shot of compressed air at dislodging those stubborn hunks of dust attached to heat sinks, but its far cheaper and more useful. Be aware, the heads are smaaallll. This is not for getting between couch cushions, but for getting between RAM sticks. The I almost exclusively use the brush attachment as its surprisingly useful. It comes in a cheapo plastic bag. I replaced it with a freezer-strength large zip-lock bag and tossed it in the closet where it sits until I need it.

The toxic chemical smell of the flexible hose that comes with this kit is overwhelming and I had to keep it outside on my balcony; there was no way I was going to be able to use the attachments with that hose (note: attachments did not smell, was definitely the hose). Following the suggestion of another reviewer, I went to Home Depot and purchased a coil of flexible tubing. While I'm not happy with having to spend an additional $11, I now have a better quality hose that I don't worry about being poisoned with, can make the hose any length I wish, can use the attachments and it was preferable to just binning everything, as it wouldn't have been worth it to return. On the plus side, this fits my Shark Duo Clean NV800C vacuum perfectly and the attachments do work very well in cleaning my PC, keyboard and other electronics and I think will also work well if I have a space for which my regular size vacuum attachments are too big. I find the suction OK, as I don't think I would want it to be stronger around electronics. Received order in 9 business days.
