These Luminara candles are the best - not cheap but look more realistic than any other brand I have tried.

Fantastic look just like the real thing , always said I would never have fake candles but after accidentally knocking a real candle and nearly catching the place alight thought better get some fake ones and so delighted with these and the remote control for them is brilliant . So good that I ordered another set , everyone who comes here can’t believe there not real .

We now have four of these candles and so really appreciate the remote control which allows you to turn all four on and off with the simple press of a button, instead of having to lift each candle and fiddle around with the tiny (and seemingly flimsy) switch on the bottom. So as to save money in the long term, we are using rechargeable batteries and I can't say that I am over-impressed with the frequency with which one has to recharge them. That said, at least it makes them virtually free to run, which is quite a consideration. I should add that these candles remind me of the behind-the-scenes documentaries of great sci-fi films. Once you know how the effect is achieved, you can never enjoy the film/candle so much as you did when you were ignorant!! The magic just isn't there any more!

Loved the realistic flame effect but feel that for the price batteries should be included, also there was supposed to be a remote control included.

For me, these are the very best faux candles on the market. Not only are they real wax, but the flickering of the ‘flames’ is as lifelike as you can get. I heartily recommend Luminara candles, even if they cost a bit more - WELL worth it.

Yes they are expensive but look amazing. Well worth the extra. Thinking of keeping them out all year!

Why aren't the batteries included? I was very excited to receive the expensive candles, but can't use them as there are no batteries! I will now have to order them separately...not happy.
