I am very happy with this purchase. It did a great job of sharpening my old scissors and knives.

I was disappointed in the performance of this tool. It is probably OK for knives that aren’t in super bad shape, but the ad says that it will totally reshape the most damaged knives. I purchased this because my knives are in super bad shape and they haven’t been sharpened in a really long time.I used it according to the enclosed directions (which were minimal) and a dull blade edge came up for a few minutes. However the knife still wouldn’t slice a tomato and what little edge came up was dulled and done even before my first use.If your knives are in basically good shape and just need minor maintenance, this might be a good tool for you. But if you are trying to restore super neglected knives, you will need a professional knife craftsman.

This thing is amazing!!! sharpened all my scissors dull old knives, it only took 3 pulls on each setting, I literally sharpened 4 knives and 3 pairs of scissors in 2 minutes. My beloved dull old meat cleaver now slices tomatoes with ease.

LOVE IT, GREAT PRODUCTI sharpened ALL 12 of my katanas today in under 30 minutes. It did a fantastic job, they are as close to a razor's edge without all the cost...and labor!! Will purchase a second one to maintain my blades.
