Good idea bad design how to seperate the two halves without taking it out of the water impossible

Does the job and doesn’t cramp the fish too much!

I bought this as a replacement for another breeder box. This worked get when the snails hatched. I struggled more than I should have to clean the breeder box. So far so good, hoping my stubborn guppy will give birth in this box.

This is so flimsy I doubt it will last a week the suction cups are too small to hold it to the glass and it was dirty like it was covered with a fine sand

I breed platy fish and this box allows the fry to get away from the mother after birth. It does exactly what it is ment to do. It is also very easy to clean when not in use. I have not used the splitter yet but I will when I breed guppies.

I had two pregnant guppies. I put one in each of the upper sections and they each had their babies. A few of the babies stayed up with the mom but most of the babies dropped down below when I found them. It was easy to remove the upper portion of the box to allow the babies to have the full box and the moms went back into the large tank.

Decent product for it’s intended use, BUT if you have eggs in the box, the fish CAN suck the eggs out of the bottom. We had 50+ eggs and within 24 hours we’re down to 9.
