SPANXsculpt OnCore High-Waisted Mid-Thigh Short - Powerful Sculpting Shapwear for Women - Level 4 Compression

My main concern was the top rolling down and I even chatted with someone on the Spanx website who said that if you are in between sizes then sizing up will help prevent rolling. Even though I am losing weight, I went ahead and got the larger size. Trying it on and walking around my house I was disappointed at first because it immediately started rolling down. Loved it everywhere else so I decided to wear to work the next day with the straps to hold the top in place (pro tip: don’t try to figure out the straps when you are already running late! Took me a good five minutes searching for the second strap I swear I just had before I realized they were hooked together). Not sure if it just needed a stretching from the initial try on or if the straps did anything, but I had almost no rolling of the band wearing these for over 10 hours! I didn’t have that tummy sauna/sausage casing feeling like with cheaper brands. I am a little wary of using the opening - I got the nude color and they are almost see-through. One thing that is nice about the shorts style shapewear is that your rear end is covered in a dress - it looks like they mean for you to wear these without underwear but with the transparency and the big hole, I felt it was too risky. I was hesitant to buy these because of the expense, but then I realized that I had 3 $20 ones to return that just didn’t work for me despite rave reviews. I learned a lesson in buying quality here. I think the style is good for those with long torsos - they went all the way up without any issue and I’m normally fighting the highwaisted styles to get them in place. For reference, I’m 5’9” 180lbs size 12/14, pear shaped and I bought large.

Well I ordered this for an upcoming event to help smooth out my dress which was slightly clingy. I ordered a Small as I’m 5’ 3” and fluctuate between 99 & 102 lbs & usually wear a 0 or 2. So I was surprised when I couldn’t get them past my knees!! Haha! But after a few committed minutes, they did finally pull up & settled above my waist—Wow!! Immediately Slimming & Figure enhancing! And they were actually quite comfortable once I got them on fully. They really did make a good difference in how my dress looked on & also tried a few other dresses on to compare. Just lovely & completely hidden under even the most fitted dresses! I did not experience any “roll down” from top—but had the top band placed under my bra band. Not something I’d wear daily, but excellent for special events & dresses. Size up if you’re unsure as it does take a moment to get them on ;). Worth the extra cost!!

I think this is a great product. It does fit like a tight hug with high compression in the belly but at the same time it's completely comfortable so you can wear it all day long. This shapewear actually does what it says it does. The fit is true to size so check the size chart before buying. The reason why I'm leaving 4 stars and not 5 is that the leg part does roll a bit so I had to adjust it throughout the day. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. It's definitely high quality material. I have bought many other belly bands and this one is by far the best. The higher price is justified since it's definitely a superior product.

I already took the tags off and washed it so I can’t return it. I tried this on, I have other products from SpanX I like, when it fit i thought we were good to go. Unlike other SpanX products, these ones rolled down and would not stay put. I also realized after trying to wear it that the torso is way too long. The fabric is fine, color as expected, the overall product is a no. I ordered another compression garment at the same time. The other item was far superior. It was called Spandex

It held things in place REALLY well, but there was no structure, tacky lining, or anything at the top of the garment to keep it in place. Any movement caused it to start rolling over until it was all the way down to my natural waist. Just not wearable in that condition so I had to return it.

They’re hard to put on but very sliming once they’re on…boy do they make a difference! I’m buying another one!

Nice and thin material, well designed. I sized up as suggested here and on the Spanx website, and there was little compression but very comfortable. However for real compression I'd say go with your usual size.

I am disappointed. I have used Spanx sculpting shapewear for years and this is the first time I am returning a product. This product does not work as well at the SPANX ASSETS High-Waist Mid-Thigh Short - Seamless Shapewear - Ultra-Firm Compression - Thigh & Tummy Control shaper. Two stars for smoothing out most areas. However, it does not smooth out back rolls. As a matter of fact it emphasizes them. Returning and exchange for another old faithful.

La gaine comprimé bien, au début on a l’impression que ça ne va jamais rentrer mais au final ça va. Prenez une taille en dessous sinon ça gaine moins.

I wanted to love this, but it comes up way too high and rolls over. Sadly, will have to return. I'm 5'6" but have a short torso.

Prodotto di ottima fattura, rifinito nei dettagli. Io, avendo una taglia 44, ho preso la large come suggerito. Pensavo però fosse un pò più costringente. Invece è abbastanza comodo. Forse avrei dovuto prendere la taglia più piccola.... Comunque sono soddisfatta dell'acquisto ho apprezzato molto il "rinforzo" sull'addome.

Love these as I had an old pair that lasted years before the crotch wore out. I wear them once or twice a week and these ones ripped in less than 3 months For the price it's inexcusable! Too late to return here but I will contact Spanx directly!
