The first one I ordered was a pink one, and it was clean, don't remember if it was sealed in plastic wrap. The second time I ordered a baby blue one, it came with hair in it, I returned it. **Q: Can I use this brush to blow dry my hair** A: I've had the same one for 20 years, and it's fine after years of hair drying. My mother has multiples... She has used them, when blow drying her hair, DAILY, for 35+years! They have minimal problem. My only suggestion would be to make sure you don't place them directly under the hairdryer in a manner in which the bristles could directly touch the elements. You'll melt or warp the clear bristles. (A school friend borrowed one of our brushes, and accidentally did this). You get what you pay for and it's very true. I have long hair and it can get frizzy but this brush has seemed to help with the frizz. I love that I can use this brush on my wet hair and dry. It has replaced my Wet brushes and I won't be going back to them. I would love to buy the big one in this one day.
