I love poppy seeds and use them for baking bagels, cooking muffins, cakes and dressing my salads. These seeds are typically poppy seeds and the taste is really good. The package has a seal to keep the seeds fresh and moister-free. the price of this 8 oz bulk package is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Unusably bitter
We grind blue poppy seeds every year to make poppyseed kuchen. These were bitter to the point of being unusable. No amount of honey would make these palatable in the least. Discarded.
