Dinosaurs with Jobs: A Coloring Book Celebrating Our Old-School Coworkers (Adult Coloring Book for Women and Men)

I just recently rediscovered how awesome coloring is. I have two toddlers and coloring is something fun we can do together on rainy days and a way to settle them down before bedtime, but then I started coloring after they were already in bed as a way to unwind and I love it! I was however, getting a little sick of coloring kitties and puppies and Minnie mouse and Elmo and Spider-Man so I decided to search Amazon for some adult coloring books. So ecstatic that I found this one. I got it in the mail and looked through it and could not stop laughing. I think I finished all of the coloring pages in a week, I didn't want to put it down! The drawings are hilarious and the description on each page just make it even funnier. I leave this on my coffee table and when people come over they are immediately drawn to this coloring book and of course they have to look through it and see what dinosaurs with jobs look like. I am going to be ordering all of the other ones from this author as well. You really can't go wrong with this coloring book. It has something for everyone!! It's clever and witty, if you have a sense of humor at all and like to color, you will find this very enjoyable!

I could not help but bust out laughing when I received my issue of "Dinosaurs with Jobs". I got this book for my best friend who is an IT. He used to make jokes about dinosaurs regularly (especially T-Rex not being able to make beds properly because of his short arms, lol). I read through the book and laughed so hard at each page. It's like a story book for adults, and not to mention a great way to entertain yourself! Who says coloring books are for kids?! This book is perfect for those who have secretly wanted to have a coloring book made specially for their interest (like me) instead of having to settle for little kid books. I have a 5-year-old, and I always get stuck coloring Disney Jr. or Nick Jr. stuff.... But now I know I can get a coloring book just for me! Woo Hoo! I would definitely recommend this book to my friends and anyone who enjoys silly humor.

This is a hilarious coloring book that you will purchase more likely for humor than actual coloring endeavors. Although PG-rated, the book caters more toward and adult audience. The book includes a series of creative vignettes depicting the ennui of dinosaurs who have menial jobs. The book makes for a good gift, coffee table display, and conversation starter.

If you're a fan of sharp wit and love coloring, you'll need this one in your collection. Dinosaurs need to make a living too and each picture describes the day-to-day challenges they face in all its hilarity. The drawings are crisp, many with thick lines, great for markers and crayons. The paper is on the thin side, similar to a regular children's coloring book, but that doesn't present a problem since it's a one-sided book. Just use a piece of paper behind the page when using markers.

I gave this book to a 9-year-old boy for Christmas. His dad is a meth addict and his mom is disabled but a great parent. She is concerned about him not having a good role model who works and shows responsibility. She was happy for her son to have this book that shows that it is normal to have a job and that jobs are interesting and worthwhile. In fact, that little boy has been talking about what he wants to be when he grows up and has reflected on what he learned from this book. That is a better outcome than I would have expected but I'm pretty happy about it. I like children's books that provide some important life lessons in addition to being fun to read. This is a really cute coloring book. I bought as a gift for Christmas but I think I'm going to buy one for myself later. The artist draws with a lot of whimsey, and while not complicated, it sure looks fun to color. It was advertised as an adult coloring book but I could easily see a kid around 8 enjoying this just as much as any adult. I appreciated the artist little notes in the beginning and I really enjoyed the accurate dinosaur names. This is a lot of fun and I highly recommended. My only complaint would be that it's rather short. It's so cute I didn't want it to end.

This coloring book is absolutely my favorite coloring book! I bought 2 of them (one for me and one for a friend) and it keeps me laughing. Most of my coloring books are the same thing - paisley designs meant to keep you calm or whatever but I find them to be overwhelming sometimes which is so not the point of adult coloring. This one is simple in design with captions of what's going on in the picture and I love it. I mean come on... Dinosaurs with jobs? Sign me up!

I bought this as a gift for one of my best friends. I think this is the perfect gift for an adult who loves a good laugh. Its relaxing to color and the blurbs that go with each picture is hysterical!!! I highly recommend getting this coloring book!

This author cracks me up. This is the third colouring book of theirs that I've bought, and I've sent a couple to my family, too. Outstanding humour and art.
