Great Product
Great product works exactly as it should. Tested it out at 3 grand first just to see if it worked. And it did. Easy to wire up too. I’d buy again.

Works perfectly
I ordered this for my son's 1982 Mustang GT. His car didn't have a factory rev limiter and I didn't want to buy an MSD setup, so I took a chance on this. It's been 3 months and it's been perfect so far. It took about 10 minutes to install and it is easy to use. Just set the RPM and forget about it. Be advised, it is not a "soft touch" rev limiter by any means. It sounds like a two-step when you hit the limiter. But it works well. No complaints. I'll probably put one on my car when I get it together this summer.

Worked as expected.
I use this on my '68 Camaro with a 350 HO crate engine and HEI distributor. The car is used for autocross. My first couple of events with the new engine, I glanced at the tachometer needle hitting 5000 rpm and was concerned because redline is listed at 5600 rpm for this engine. I installed this unit for peace of mind (and so I could concentrate on driving instead of the gauges.) To test it, I set the limit at 3000 rpm and took the car for a drive. It felt very smooth when it hit the limit. It just felt like the car wouldn't go any faster. The only con would be the hookup kit that came with the unit. The wires are too small. I piggybacked the wire directly into the 12 gauge wire I ran from the firewall bulkhead connector to the distributor.

Perfect!
EZ to install, works like a champ. Bonus–my tach never worked with my hi-output coil. The PerTronix rev limiter has a tach output wire that allowed my tach to work properly, eliminating the need for a filter that may or may not have solved the problem. Very happy customer!

Worked as advertised.
Works identical to a 6al box except it's more accurate to the RPM. I'm very happy with this rev limiter I use this for a nitrous application it keeps it from overrabbing in first gear

They kept having issues at 4,000 RPMs
I got it for my 1982 Toyota Celica with a 22r. I'm returning it, because when Im at 4000 rpms in 3rd and 4th gear it miss fires. I tried cleaning up the connections but still having the same issue I'm positive it's not my ignition system maybe the product is faulty.

rev limiter works great easy hook up
installed on bb Mopar with magnetic distributor pick up an Mopar orange box with msd blaster2 coil but can't find a tach compatible to the rev box or maybe it's my combination.

no limits
only works under full load! no good for jet boats! as it will not limit at all when you NEED it to, e.g. as for when you vent the pump and the engine runs away it will NOT limit no matter where you sent it. be aware!
