Enough room for the USB charging cable and earbuds that come with it. Provides good protection. Retaining strap inside will block a portion of the screen. A bit difficult to get the player out from under the strap with my big sausage fingers, but even a small lanyard attached to the player's provided rubbery case will work. Not enough room for the wall charger, but no big deal because I won't be using the wall charger except at home.
