Works well for its price.
The Kreg Straight Edge Guide worked well for my project. Set up was easy (I watched a YouTube video by Kreg) to get my circular saw spacing correct. Once I got the hang of getting the straight edge tight on the piece of stock I was trimming, the Guide worked great. It’s a fairly reasonable priced Guide. I’m glad I purchased this item.

Awful Design
It fails on every front. It's not guaranteed to be straight - it comes in two pieces which fit together with a ton of slop, and you have to manually align it with a different straightedge and tighten set screws to make it straight. The clamp is hard to use, but kind of works if you have a piece with a thick flat edge. On thinner material it doesn't want to lock properly. Also, sliding clamp is held in by friction and won't stay in place if I get sawdust in it. That's right - a saw guide that can't handle saw dust. Worst of all, the edge of the clamping mechanism can flex up into the path of the saw and block you from completing the cut. One time I got stuck on it, tried to shove the saw past it, and the clamp popped undone, the guide slid, and I ruined my workpiece. I didn't think I could go wrong buying a name brand straightedge but Kreg found 3 different ways to screw it up. A 4' level and two clamps is cheaper, easier to use, and more reliable.

Kreg makes great products and this is no exception.
I bought this for my circular saw to make straight cuts. Made of aluminum and tough polymer plastics. I recommend anything made by Kreg. They have great products.

Kreg guide
It is just ok, probably be better just with a piece of flat stock.

It takes a little getting used to but it works.
It does work well and it is a lot less expensive than a track saw. I was able to make 1/4'' cuts with a circular saw. It does take a little getting used to and the set up takes some time. The set back markers are real stiff to move and that's good because they shouldn't move when you are setting up the cut. However that is frustrating. Getting it to grip on the material was the most difficult part. But the good part and the reason I got it is it will support a Circular saw a jig saw and a router and it sets up faster than a straight edge and and clamps. So far I am happy with it

Borderline dangerously ineffective tool
Now I see why this has such terrible reviews. If you buy this, make sure you use strong clamps because there’s a possibility of the straight edge moving/flexing and causing damage to your work piece or worse! In my case, it moved as I was guiding my router, causing the bit to catch on my work piece and damage all 3, my work piece, the straight edge and my router bit. Could have caused worse damage/injuries if anything else went wrong. The other end of my work piece also looks wonky and I’m not sure if this is because it’s not perfectly straight or because of the flexing. Either way, not a good use of my money.

Todo sea por un trabajo más seguro y estable. Te da confianza al realizar lpa cortes, siempre bajo las reglas de seguridad y con el respeto a la sierra circular.

These are so much easier than trying to clamp down a straight edge or board. Having two at different lengths is great. One way to improve it would be to have the vice parts adjust on an angle for making an angled cut.
