Would this work on a dobro?

Some dobros have a wider fret board; if yours is super wide, this one might not work. I have a classical nylon string which have a wider fretboard than steel string guitars and this works perfectly but on the very last notch. Were the fret board any wider, it would be too tight. You might compare your fretboard size to a standard classical guitar, if the same or smaller, this would probably be fine. Hope this helps.

Is this capo suitable for a baritone ukulele?

The fretboard on a baritone uke is not as wide as a guitar’s, so it may hang over the edges a bit, but it shouldn’t be an issue. The important thing to look at is if your uke has a curved or flat fretboard. This capo is made to sit flush against a flat fretboard, so it would not hold all the strings down cleanly on a curved fretboard.
