Can be cleaned in less than 3 mins. Good buy.
Certainly saves constantly cleaning the pump. Easy to clean. Recommend a cover/sock over it to help keep the green away. Our pond is 3,200 litres and works well.

Great bit of kit
I have never been a fan of evolution aqua products after buying variable pumps that did not last very long at all. And a nexus that was overspeced for my pond but needed constant cleaning and left the pind with fines everywhere. Since got rid of the nexus. Decided to try the tempests out and was pleasantly surprised. A little bit expensive for what they are though. I think £250 is a little excessive. Never the less a very good filter or polisher

Ref Faulty part on Tempest
The Tempest has been installed but unfortunately there is a fault on the AIR VALVE and this particular part cannot be used would require a replacement. How can we proceed with this please.

Expensive for what it is and hopefully will come with new ball valves (‘mine didn’t) so had to purchase for extra cost but works a treat

Easy add on to my Nexus 220, you think your filter is doing a great job Until you see how much extra waste this collects. Easy to clean well worth the money

Leaks like a sieve
Don’t buy. Valve leaks, but you don’t know until you’ve glued it together Seller won’t reply, total trash Avoid this seller and maybe the product

Does what it claims to do.
If like me your pond water is clear but there are hundreds of fines then this product is for you.I connected the filter one evening and noticed a difference the next morning.It's easy to clean and you can see when it needs a clean.Definitely recommend.

We’ve had a pond for many years and always fought with cloudy murky water. All the key water quality tests were good, we just couldn’t see the fish well. For years I thought I had a faulty UV filter. The real issue was with ultra fine particles in the water. Bought two of these and the problem is solved. Consistent, crystal clear water! It feels really good doing a weekly flush of the Tempest and seeing all the fines this thing catches.
