This is a very sturdy case to protect a flip phone (only) for people who work outside or in other highly rigorous environments. It is a bit bulky, but it does its job well. Pass a belt through the loop and secure the cover and the phone is not going to get lost on its own. The case design squeezes on the phone, also helping to keep it in place. Does not interfere with Bluetooth reception, so hands free in the case works fine. Not the phone case, however, if you plan to make a fashion statement. :-)

I have been looking for a phone case for my work phone, which is a flip-type phone. This fits perfectly. I love the velcro closure, but I know all velcro wears out eventually, and so Im pleased about the clip closure in addition to the velcro. Im certain my phone will be replaced before my case wears out and then Ill figure out something else to use it for! The workmanship and materials seem to be of high quality, and I feel confident they will last. Even if its only 1 year, I will have got my money's worth. I literally saw a similar style case in a bricks-and-mortar store, but it felt cheap and didnt have the extra clip closure. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a good case for this type phone or other small device. It holds it securely and protects it well. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the clip is not up to the standards of the rest of the case. Several time when I had it clipped to my pants it fell off when I got in or out of a vehicle. This is simple to solve by putting your belt through the provided loop instead of using the clip but it takes more time and not all clothes choices have a belt. Otherwise it is a very good case and a great value for the money.

I liked everything about this product: the snap closure in addition to the velcro closure, the robust construction, and the price. I spend a lot of time outdoors and not much time on the phone, and that's why I chose this model. But this case is not for everyone. It's a bit clumsy and time consuming to take out the phone, and the case makes a big bulge on your belt. If you're an urbanite happy with a sleek little flip top phone look elsewhere. My phone, as well as the case, is of the hardy military-style, and if it takes an extra effort to get it out I'm okay with that, as long as the case stays shut the rest of the time. I don't care about the bulge. If you want something that will protect your phone and stay closed under rough conditions, then this product should be considered: it's the best one I could find for that purpose. I gave it five stars for being exactly what it says it is, "rugged case durable ..."

OK, I am still one of those that use a flip phone. Please do not row you eye at me, LOL. I have going through many of cases over the years, all cheap. I will say that this is the best I have used. My flip phone fits prefect in it. It expands to allow a thick phone like the one I use “ The Ruby “, the cover snaps locks, and can be hook to your belt and a number of different ways. This is a good one.

I give it 3 stars ("It's okay") even though I personally hate it straight out of the package. The reason for that grace is because there really aren't many features that are different from how it it is described on Amazon. I only took off for things that I consider defects or were different than I expected .I bought it because I had a feeling I could modify into a better case than the others I was comparing it against. What I love: Rugby 3 phone fits perfectly (snug, but I can still pry it out with my fingers to easily answer calls). Durable (no loose stitching). Top D-ring is great for attaching to backpack, lanyard, etc. Front elastic band works great to conceal emergency cash or card. Pen loop is nice touch. Belt clip and belt loop work well. What I don't love: Very bulky (much more bulky than all pictures except one make it appear; snap is completely overkill). Too complicated (In order to use a phone, you have to unsnap case, lift up the Velcroed flap, pry out the phone, and then flip the phone open. Doable, but definitely a two-handed job to answer calls promptly. Snap could have easily just been a button snap instead of the bulky pinch snap). Side pen loop is slightly too high for anything but very short pens (bottom of pen sticks out). Easy mods: I cut the strap and flap (including all buckle attachments) off and removed the leftover Velcro. I also cut off red manufacture label. After doing that, I used a lighter to melt all edges and loose threads. Phone fits snug enough with only elastic. Not super pretty or polished, but perfect for me.

I bought this to replace a new one I had purchase with my phone at the Verizon store. I should have known the plastic clip would break. It lasted almost one month! This one is built with more durable material and has two different flap locks. One is Velcro and the other is a belt with a buckle. I like the belted fastener because it is a second way to secure your phone if you do not want to loose it(running, cramped quarters, etc.). I use the wide belt loop on the back to keep it secure. As you can tell I only use flip phones because their rugged, inexpensive, they work all the time as a phone. I do not consider a phone an entertainment device or a means of social interaction.
