Not really. If this helps, I weighed 290 lbs when I ordered so I ordered large. I am so glad I did, fit snug like it is suppose to. And I ordered the soda beads to wash them in. They do work. My bf loves them.

Yes, they are underwear. But there are special washing instructions, notably that they must be washed with baking soda in cold water.
