GREAT dog treats- even if your dog isn't diabetic
I purchased these treats for my parent's dog who is NOT diabetic but is getting older and is not as active as he once was. They've always been very careful about what they feed Copper but it's especially important now in order to avoid him gaining excess weight as it can have very adverse effects on aging dogs. These treats are very fresh and healthy and Copper LOVED them! It's nice to be able to reward this little fella with a treat he'll enjoy that's also good for him! Highly recommend these treats!

Good But
Bought these for diabetic dog. There aren't a lot of treats for diabetic dogs so tried these. The dog likes them and they seem to be very good healthy ingredients. The only negative is the pieces are kind of big and they are hard. So makes it tougher chew for the dogs and older or diabetic dogs dont have as good of teeth and you can't break them into smaller pieces well.

Our recently diagnosed diabetic Newfoundland loves them!
Brutus loves his new treats! Heโs had the chicken and the sweet potato and loves both flavors. I love that the ingredients are so much better for him than many of the others. He was recently diagnosed with diabetes and takes insulin twice a day. We have to feed him on a regular twice a day schedule as well. Heโs a big boy and is always hungry so he gets a couple of these in between with no mommy guilt.

But she seems to really enjoy Ella's Diabetic dog treat
I have an 11 1/2 year old Shih Tzu who was diagnosed w/ diabetes over 1 1/2 years ago. She has to take insulin 2 times a day. It sure is hard to find doggie treats for her as most have sugar in some form in their treats. But she seems to really enjoy Ella's Diabetic dog treat . I am so happy to find these! I have also found another great place that sells diabetic doggie treats call The Old Dog Cookie Co and my dog loves them as well.

Fur baby LOVES them.
It's difficult to find diabetic dog treats that are not extremely expensive. These are less expensive than others and our dog loves them. They look like triscuits and when we give him his shot we give him a treat and it distracts him. We no longer have issues giving him his shot.
