Product Description: Two-axis pushbutton rocker sensor module by joystick potentiometer with (X, Y) 2 axis analog output, (Z) 1 button digital output. With the sensor expansion board can be produced such as remote control interactive works. In addition, this product in order to allow customers to more easily with expansion board and other standard interface, the design of the X, Y, Z axis of the circuit leads alone, the user can use 3-pin special line really plugged into the expansion board for Use. Product performance: 1. Input voltage range: DC 3.3V to 5V 2. Output signal: module ad hoc two-way analog output and one digital output interface, the output value corresponding to (X, Y) biaxial offset, the type is analog; the button indicates whether the user presses the Z axis, Its type is digital switch. 3. Through the controller programming, plug the sensor expansion board to complete the creative remote interactive works. 4. Cross rocker is a bi-directional 10K resistor, with the rocker in different directions, the tap resistance changes. Review: Not much to say. It is well made, easy to work with. Smooth operation, and does exactly what was stated. I also like the fact that I did not have to solder anything to test it out. Just plugged it into a breadboard, connected with wired, and it worked.

**Q: What size hole should I drill to use this?**
A: A 28mm diameter hole works nicely.

**Q: Can anyone tell me how to set this up with the raspberry pi pins?**
A: you need to use an analog to digital converter, as the RPi can't use analog signals. I found and plan on using this sometime(though I'd still recomend looking around some, but Adafruits pretty good)- https://www.amazon.com/Adafruit-MCP3008-8-Channel-Interface-Raspberry/dp/B00EU1PY06/ref=pd_bxgy_23_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=QKDJ1R0FRS743VAR3QVW The button, however can hook up, but make sure to find the right progam, otherwise you can mess up your Pi pretty bad(Oh, this also goes for the signal after the converter).

A: It does not.

Not much to say. It is well made, easy to work with. Smooth operation, and does exactly what was stated. I also like the fact that I did not have to solder anything to test it out. Just plugged it into a breadboard, connected with wired, and it worked.

This is a good product except for one thing. The plastic knob is very sensitive to heat. The heat from a heat shrink blower caused the thin edges of the knob to melt even though it was several inches away. So I learned a lesson there. I had to cut off the thin mishapened edge of the knob to get it to work, but eventually I replaced the entire switch.
