LEGO Mini Box 4, Bright Red

This item is pretty neat, but only 3 stars because it's a small box for the price. I put a few raisins in it and that's about it. With the other Lego Storage boxes though, you can mix and match and fill up the Lego Lunch Box with a variety of different snacks. My son loves it!

These boxes are too small to be useful...I bought the lunch boxes and these were described to hold snacks...cannot even hold two grapes..gave it as a toy...

To those who complain about the size - READ the product description! It clearly says it's just shy of 2" square. In terms of volume it holds slightly less than 1/4 cup. Which is a perfect serving size for nuts, dried fruit, hummus, or cheese .... okay, I use the mini box 8 for cheese because I eat far too much of it, lol .... but this mini box 4 is a healthier size. It's also a perfect size for a dip for veggies, or salsa. It closes fairly securely but does not latch shut in any way, so you can't just toss it into a backpack willy-nilly. Also it doesn't seal, so if the contents are liquidy - like a sauce or salsa - then it needs to remain upright at all times. May take a little getting used to but not a problem if you're already used to bento-style containers. Overall - these are a fabulous Lego-branded bento containers. Or great container for anything small - would be FANTASTIC as a jewelry gift box!
