Q: New filter right out of a box of 4 and it doesn’t work! ppm 326! my tap water is 302...? yes the o ring is there and i screwed it in properly. ?..

Have not seen this with any of the filters - on my third one out of the 4 pack. I have found they last a long time before needing to be changed. Maybe try another filter and see what happens. Thoroughly clean everything first.

Q: I just received my filters on august 4. by august 6 the tester reads 16. is this defective filter? there is only one person in household.

The filter normally works between 3-4 months for myself, 2 months when my son is home from college. A failure so quickly can be caused by a number of things; the filter may not be seated in the holder correctly, the filter may not be tightened or the fulfillment company damaged the product before shipping but shipped it anyway. Yes the last one did happen.

I didn't see any coconuts. I have no idea what you are driving at. Coconut shells? Am I missing something?

Q: Whats the difference between the zr-004 filter and the zr-006 filter besides 15 dollars?

Not much 'Google' info available about this, but on the ZeroWater FAQs page, someone asked what the difference was between ZR-001 and ZR-017, and ZeroWater responded with 'just the quantity is different'.

Best water filter ever

This filter is great. I have a glass teapot. Every morning after the water cools there was this film of crud floating on the water. We no longer have that problem. I ask my Doctor if it was ok if I drank water with all the minerals and particulates removed and she said yes as long as I was taking a good multivitamin. And the water tastes great!

Solid tops prevent problems

These filters have solid tops on them. I've gotten others in the past with flexible plastic tops and there were issues with them leaking no matter how tight they were screwed in; it was a problem with these types of flexible tops leaving residue that caused leakage.
