We wanted to replace our shower faucet and needed to replace the mixing valve too. This valve works great. Our new shower has much better water pressure thanks to the great new valve.

My old diverter was so full of sediment that the pressure wasn't very good. This part works very well and my pressure has been restored. My complaint, not exactly with this part, but I'm removing one star because if you use this diverter, then your only option that I'm aware of is the poorly engineered companion faceplate. The seal of it around the controls is such that it is not water tight. If water is sprayed onto the unit, water gets behind the faceplate into the wall. I've rigged and better seal and avoid spraying water directly on to the unit. The diverter/faceplate that I was replacing (a different manufacturer that is no longer available) was entirely water tight. Lastly, the instructions for installation aren't entirely clear.

Installed it myself two years ago and have not had any issues at all.

The valve works great and functions as described. Time will tell how it holds up. It has been about eight months so far. The plumber had no problem with installation.
