See how lovely it is?!? The craftsmanship is amazing, the geographical features, such as oceans and mountains, are accurate in their position and are all properly labeled. Not to mention, it is useful as well as being a great decor piece. The small size makes it just right for a desk piece, so reference use of the desk globe is accurate (important for someone in any historical or scientific field); the alignment is also accurate and spin is correct as well. Edit (Dec 2025): used in a presentation for a lecture via Zoom. It was perfect to represent the principles of relations between nations, filmed well, nations were visible on screen, and worked well to show position on the globe to make the reference point of the relationship between the two countries more relevant. Worked well with a pointer and I was able to get the point across with visual representation to aid visual learning. All these factors combined make this a fantastic piece for anyone who wants a globe for teaching purposes or just an inexpensive gift or art piece that looks like you spent $100, because the craftsmanship is just amazingly beautiful. I love this globe, and will be buying one for my oldest son when he leaves for college next fall so he has an accurate view of our planet (so long as the geography labels remain accurate, otherwise he will receive this one). Love it!

this is a small beautiful little globe.

When I was a kid, we had a very large globe in our classroom. I loved to study the unusual-sounding country names and admire the graphic details of that old globe. I grew up loving maps and I am a bit curmudgeonly about all travel being guided these days by a satellite over my head. I'm sometimes surprised to hear people's ignorance of geography, and I like to be able to locate where news happens around the world. So I wanted a globe for my desk, a good old-fashioned round physical globe. There are tons of them to choose from. I like this one for its smaller size, subdued color scheme, reasonable cost, readability, and (as far as I can tell) accuracy. Once it arrived, I was pleased with the quality of its construction. I enjoy having it as an occasional distraction on my desk.

Great product but read the measurements. Not what I thought! Very small

LOVE THIS GLOBE! I got it to use as a guest globe for my brother's wedding and it looked amazing. I searched everywhere for the best price because I'm cheap and this was the best I could find for the price. It was a great gift to them and everyone at the wedding love it. It also spun really well and I thought the quality of the map was awesome, really accurate and super detailed (even though we were writing on it!).

It's okay looking, but as soon as you touch it, it feels immediately cheap. It's way lighter than you think. The base is not metal, it's made of the cheapest plastic, not even good plastic. The globe itself almost feels like hard paper. I guess it's okay just for looks on a top shelf out of reach.

Space is a big issue and I was worried about this globes small size. I LOVE it!! It is so perfect, no flaws, spins easily , and well made! It is so pretty! I love globes and am so happy with this purchase! It’s ideal in every way! You won’t be sorry with this one!

Nice little globe, need magnifying glass to read print but the print quality is good, base is solid and attractive. Wish more globes were available with the 360 x 360 rotation ability, it makes it so much easier to view the southern hemisphere.
